It has a good amount of space - fits a regular size coloring book with crayons with extra space. My toddler is still learning that we can’t carry everything! I previously owned a different travel tray that was misplaced and I am glad that I bought this one instead. The material feels durable, easy to clean and the unicorns helped my baby feel like it was made especially for her. Love that I can easily unbuckle to get her out of the car seat. Definite game changer traveling cross country with a 6 year old. It is sturdy enough to write and color on. The pockets are great for all of her "necessities". It easily wiped clean after lunch with a wet-nap. It does tend to tilt forward (probably because installed over car seat and design of car seat tilts forward). We put one of her stuffed animals in her lap under the tray and solved the tilt issue. ... show more

Used this for my 4 year old on a 6 hour plane ride. Made the ride much easier with far less crayon/toy dropping than previous flights without it. I wish it folds up as nice as the pictures make it seem. When folded up it has loose flappy bits and isn't nearly as tight and compact as I hoped. I purchased this for my 2 year old for a long car trip. I had some concerns due to some poor reviews I read, but I decided to take a chance and order it anyway since the design on the top was the cutest I found, it had a cup holder and it converted into a little bag. I am so glad I bought it! The one I received was brand new, in perfect condition and extremely sturdy. The sides were thick and stable. They also stayed put with the velcro. The cup holder is a perfect size for a Chico 7oz sippy cup without the handles. My daughter loves the unicorn design and there are plenty of pockets to stick little toys. The strap that goes around the car seat works, but I wish it was made of elastic instead of inflexible nylon. The plastic top is vinyl coated, so it is easy to wipe down and sanitize. I look forward to using it for years to come, since this would be great for a plane ride too! ... show more
