This was purchased as a replacement for Christmas gift of less expensive guitar that my grandson broke within minutes. This is a much better, "real" guitar purchase versus the other unit we bought. This guitar for $139 is not a bad deal or bad guitar. I am a beginner, but I also bought a Fender FA115 guitar for $189. Yes, I can tell a difference. The Fender is better built even though I had issues with that particular order. The Fender has a cleaner, more solid sound. Again, the vangoa guitar is not a bad deal at all, but there is a difference. One thing on my vangoa, is the strings aren't equally spaced. But hey, I'm a beginner, can that be rectified....ummmm.
