I purchased this carport 2-3 weeks ago to protect my car from walnut trees. We tied a couple ropes to cinder blocks, as well as a few trees to keep it from blowing away during a normal storm. I am happy to report that it stayed in perfect shape throughout hurricane Helene (I live in Asheville), up until the last hour or so when a giant branch came down. However, if the carport wasn’t there - the branch would have went through my windshield. Thankfully, I was able to drive away with no damage. This branch was also very heavy - we could not lift it off the car, we had to use a chainsaw. All that said, once things go back to normal (currently out of water and power) then we will be ordering a new one. So, for what it’s worth, it did a pretty great job protecting our car, staying put during an insane hurricane - while keeping the walnuts off of it… ... show more

I bought this thinking that it would be good to have my car in and it would be all find etc. I have it for maybe a month and it has a new problem EVERY DAY rather than it being one of the stakes comes out of the ground or the rope goes loose etc. This is one of the worst things I have ever bought. I paid $10 I to have it shipped to me and I started a return and went to many different shipping companies and the CHEAPEST was $125.55 from USPS. This product is awful and I hope no one else has to go through this like I did. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS JUNK!!! ... show more
