Over the years, I have used at least half a dozen different types of tubing on our irrigation systems. Some from Amazon and others from the big box stores. They all seem to work but the real difference is in the ease of cutting and installation. This tubing is far-and-away the very best I've used. It is soft and flexible (even when cold), easy to cut, but also strong enough to hold up to the elements. I've installed 2 of the Carpathen kits so far in my garden but I like to use extra tubing in all my connections as I like the flexibility of moving these to different parts of the beds during various times of the year. Though the kit gives you a good amount of 1/4" tubing, I like having the freedom to create longer lines in any given raised bed/planter so that I won't be kicking myself later for cutting things too short. I love that Carpathen offers this box of 120 ft extra tubing to purchase on the side and it's given me a lot of choices in how to set up my drip lines. Not only is it easy to install, it's been really durable and so far has stayed intact without any cracks or leaks. I really liked how easy it was to work with the tubing after warming it up in the sun! I didn’t have to worry about it snarling or kinking at all, and there was enough tubing to run the entire length of my raised bed AND all my surrounding grow bags. I’ve only had this system now for a few weeks, but it has really cut down in the time it takes me to water everything in the morning! This system has honestly been the only thing getting me to work on time now. The one thing I’ll say is to make sure you don’t lose the little hole punching tool! I used mine for the first half of the bed and it was a breeze to install. I lost it outside that night (blaming the wildlife) and had to use a knife for the remaining install. It definitely takes longer using a knife and trying to make sure the hole is big enough but not too big for each connector. The company has been so responsive with all my questions and helping me make sure I have all the equipment I need! Would 100% recommend this product. ... show more

Good, thick and seems durable, however the plastic needs to be softened with a lighter in order to put fitting s in the ends, it is just too thick to force them in. THe good thing is that once in, they ain't coming out!

We have a few irrigation products from Carpathen, and we have been very happy with our products every time. This tubing is very high quality — it’s not flimsy and is flexible. We appreciate the length so we have plenty to work with for what we plan to do with it. I also like that we’ll be able to move it around each year with our ever changing needs. I also love the packaging -— very simple and eco-friendly, with no plastic wrapping. Saves time unpacking and also better for the environment! The instructions are also very thorough and easy to follow. The gardening guides are a nice bonus. From my experience, they are a great company to work with. I like the drip products by Carpathen. In addition to the drip line which is quite easy to set up and use, I have their micro sprinklers which I really like. The sprinklers are easiest to use with this drip line. If you get other brands it is very difficult to attach them, but with this 1/4 inch hose they work great. ... show more
