I love the organization of the rack. It fits nicely in the drawer. The blades are very sharp and cut meats, fruits and veggies well. I only gave four stars due to the thin lightweight blades and the plastic handles. They just don't feel like these will last long. I will update my review after more use and see.

This 12 piece knife set has been a welcome addition to my kitchen with its clever in-drawer wooden block. It's so much tidier than having a block on the counter, freeing up valuable space. The cream white handles have a clean look that fits well with my kitchen decor. Right out of the box, the blades were impressively sharp, making meal prep much smoother, whether I'm slicing vegetables or preparing ingredients for a stir fry. The set includes six steak knives (serrated), which is really convenient for family dinners. While the product states they are dishwasher safe, I've found that a quick hand wash and immediate drying keeps them looking their best and helps maintain their edge, especially when my family usually plops them into the dishwasher tip first. Overall, this set provides a good range of sharp knives that are easy to store and maintain for daily cooking.

Super nice knife set that fits perfectly into our built-in knife drawer. Now it's in our travel trailer since counter space for a knife block. The stainless steel blades are solid and sharp. The hard plastic handles have some heft so they're more grippable. My go-to is the Santouka and it works and feels just like my kitchen Santouka from Cutco. So far so good, I don't put my knives in the dishwasher to avoid rusting/pitting.

Love the holder for this set because it fits easily into a drawer and keeps the knives handy and organized. The knives themselves have ivory plastic handles and blades that can handle going through the dishwasher without discoloration, rusting, or dulling. Knives arrived very sharp and seem to be good quality. These are going into a church kitchen, so they needed to be pretty indestructible and able to handle misuse and frequent dishwashing. So far, they are holding up very well and have not needed sharpening. To me, the plastic handles look pretty cheap compared to some sets that are available, but they are handling the use and abuse very well, so they were a good choice.

The knives work okay and are pretty sharp. No rusting or anything. The drawer knife block is great for small countertops. The only thing I didn't like was that the handles feel like they're made out of cheap plastic.

The good: 1) The ad photos and description are accurate. The knives and block I received are identical to those shown in the ad. 2) The knives are very lightweight. I don’t have my calipers handy, but the blade on the 8” chef’s knife is about 1/16” thick at the spine. The plastic handle also contributes to the light weight. The blade is thin, flexible and will be good for precise cutting tasks. 3) The plastic handles are well-molded and comfortable to use. 4) I like the design of the in-drawer knife block. My other set of kitchen knives sits in a big wooden block on my counter. That’s convenient, but it takes up valuable counter space. This set stays out of the way until it’s needed. 5) The knives are adequately sharp for normal kitchen tasks right out of the box. No initial sharpening needed. For testing purpose I sharpened the chef’s knife on a very fine grained whetstone. It quickly became sharp enough to shave the hair off my forearm. That suggests to me that the steel is relatively soft. For kitchen duty, I very much prefer a knife made of softer, easier-to-sharpen steel vs. a really hard steel that can be difficult to sharpen. The bad: 1) The lightweight construction and plastic handle means they will not be as stiff or as durable as a thicker, heavier knife. Neutral: 1) As the ad photos accurately show, the steak knives have serrated blades. They cut steak just fine, but I personally prefer a smooth-edged steak knife. 2) The set includes a santoku knife. For the meals I prepare and cook, that blade shape isn’t very useful. Other people preparing different meals may find it very useful. Overall: I think the set would be better without the santoku knife and with a long, slender smooth edged meat carving knife. I also think the set would be better with smooth edged steak knives. If you just need to outfit your kitchen with a good set of basic knives, this set would be a great way to start.

This knife set impressed me right out of the box. Every blade is razor sharp, and they’ve got a nice heft and balance that just feels right when you're using them. The in-drawer block keeps everything organized and out of sight, which I really like. They’ve held up great through daily use—and yes, I’ve run them through the dishwasher a few times with no issues.
