I was given a sample of this at my local Target and tried for the first time a few months ago. This is the first product that untangles and makes my hair look awesome! I'm 58 yr old white female with super straight breakage prone thin, stringy awful hair and finally there is hope! The first time I used this I actually had compliments on my long (stringy) hair masking my split ends that usually go all the way up the shaft. I liked using the entire WashDay line and loved the clean scent. I'm not sure how the products would function on their own but all together, while my hair was clean and still wet from the shower, it was fine for my high porosity, 4c, bra length hair.

The only slight downside is that if I don’t get it all rinsed out right, my hair is left with a wired but not unpleasant texture. My daughter is biracial and has extremely curly hair, kinky I guess you could say, and it tangles so easily. I have been searching for hair products that have no harmful ingredients, this has very few low risk ingredients that are ultimately just allergens which doesn’t affect my daughter. We had been using the matching shampoo already for a while and loved it so I was pleased to see that we didn’t have to replace that and just added this with a few other Carol’s Daughters products to our routine. When we used this conditioner, I washed in sections and conditioned.. it was the easiest comb out during a wash we have ever had in 9 years.
