This is a complete kit and perfect for rebuilding my 99 Jeep cherokee XJ drum brakes. One thing I noticed though was there's a few extra pieces added, presumably for other types of drum brake setups. For example the U clips, washers, and brass pins were not needed for my drum brakes.

This parts set was ordered for a 2002 Dakota SLT QC 2wd. What I discovered was that a previous owner had replaced the rear differential with a non-slip having 11 inch drums and removed the ID tags. As a result some of the parts from this kit didn't match up. The kit was right, my truck was wrong.

The set description on Amazon says county of origin USA, but the bag clearly says CHINA. This is my second time ordering this kit over the years, the first had the Carlson box and contained three bags. The new set that just arrived had one bag, no box or three separate part bags and no Carlson marking. I am not sure this is an actual Carlson kit or a knockoff, I’m leaning towards it being a knockoff.
