Used this product brake full assembly kit on a 1994 chevy c1500 single cab short bed... One trick to install the springs and pin locks I used zip ties to compres the springs ...and the rest just fit in place. Very satisfied this parts are hard to get complete in a regular local auto store ...thanks Amazon/ and suppliers. ... show more

    • Check included hardware for 2-LH or 2-RH sets before using!
The hardware itself is good quality. The problem you may encounter, as I did, is that you may receive (2) RIGHT-HAND, or (2) LEFT-HAND bags of self-adjuster parts when you need (1) RH and (1) LH of course. The bags are clear so you can see through them. I didn't notice this until one side was completely done, and the other had everything but the self-adjuster in place (which is LH or RH). While Amazon would have accepted a return, the job needed to be completed so I had to re-use a 3 parts (not springs) from the old parts. Unfortunate, so be sure to check the parts closely before-hand because upon 1st glance, it looks like you're getting all the parts you need. ... show more

Nice parts kit; just very little of it was suitable for my car. Purchased because Amazon said it was appropriate for a 1997 Chev Suburban and I wanted to make sure I had everything on hand before starting the rear drum brake job. Out of some thirty odd parts, I was able be use maybe (4) four.
