This is easily top 5 of the best bugs of my adult life. Out of the 4 ratings for Carhartt coats, this is the highest for warmth and protection. I live in MN and walked in 0 degree weather comfortably with just a fleece and snow pants underneath. It ended up replacing 4 layers I used to wear underneath my other winter coat. I bought a medium but I think I could have gotten away with a small. I got worried by the other comments saying it ran small and that the sleeves ended up too short. I also hate being constricted in a coat and am happy with the roominess of the medium. The sleeves were just fine, shorter than I think most winter coats, but it’s perfect with the carhartt mittens (I promise I’m not a carhartt rep!). The hood is so warm, weighted so it stays in place. Pockets are large and usable. The quality is what you expect out of the brand. Worth every penny.

I purchased this coat for my first winter in Chicago. So far it has kept me toasty warm. I am a true 16/18, large bust, and the extra large fits me perfectly. It is a little stiff, but I figure as the winter wears on I’ll be able to break it in .

An old fashioned winter coat with some heft to it. It's been a struggle finding a good winter coat and then I found this one. Exactly what I was seeking. Love the side pockets, the elastic wrists and weight of the coat. It's warm and cozy and water proof! Highly recommend this if you need true warmth and protection from winds. I'm 5" and 140lbs. Ordered the large and it was too big. Exchanged it for a medium which was a perfect fit. When you have the right size the cost doesn't feel so bulky. Hope this review helps

I don't want to give this jacket a bad review because it's not bad quality, my only complaint with the jacket is that it's not flattering for all body types. I'm 5'3, 150lbs curvy with a shorter torso and this jacket bunched up awkwardly in my midsection and made me look like a box. The jacket is beautiful and well made. Definitely warm and up to Carhartt standards. Just not flattering on my body type, which disappointed me as i wanted to love this jacket so much! I saw another lady wearing it while i was out and about who was tall and on the slimmer side, it fit her well and looked so flattering on her!

Super warm and cozy winter coat. Very well made and heavy. Didn’t realize the fur hood comes off. Has lots of pockets and deep front pockets for your hat and mittens. Very good purchase and worth every penny!
