I was very afraid that a size 6 was going to be too big for my foot since I’m usually a size 5 or 5.5 in heels and sneakers. It’s hard to tell where your toe is with the steel toe so I took out the sole and put my foot on it to see how it was fitting. I saw that if the shoe was smaller, 3 of my toes would’ve been crushed by the boot. I’ve been slowly breaking them in for about a week with thick socks. I noticed the left foot (my smaller foot) feels like a blister wants to develop but no blister has developed. They’re not as heavy as I expected. I’m able to run in the boots comfortably. I don’t know if I have low or high arches, usually arch area is an issue with my shoes, but the arch support these boots have had felt wonderful. I’m keeping them, don’t really see a reason to try other boots at this moment. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. All scratched to the high heavens straight out of the packaging. Never again Update they’re the most uncomfortable boot ever, arch support is way too close to the toe, the ankles are so rigid it digs into your leg so bad. My ankles are bruised and incredibly painful. The laces are absolute garbage and these are definitely not a wide. I don’t require wides, mainly bought the wide for the ability to wear my thick socks, and there’s not even room for my normal socks. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I’ve always struggled finding comfortable boots and I’ve been purchasing these for the last 3-4 years. They hold up well, fit true to size, they aren’t very heavy compared to other boots, and they don’t take long to break in. I will say these are definitely a warmer weather boot not the best for below freezing temps unless you’re layering up on socks. Aside from that I have no complaints ... show more

Immediately after I received these I unboxed and slipped them on. I was sure they’d be too big or tight on my foot just based on the outside cut but they fit like a glove. I ordered my normal shoe size (6). When I say glove I mean they hug your foot perfectly in all the right spots and especially the footbed/arch which is the most comfortable I’ve ever experienced in ANY shoe including running sneakers or clogs (that have a very supportive arch). I don’t even want to take them off—that’s how great these are and I’m sure they will get softer and better with time. I’ve been wearing these in 9 degree weather and they keep my feet warm. Still in the process of finding the best size for me but I HIGHLY suggest ordering the WIDE version even if you have narrow feet. They are VERY slim fitting. I would also size up at least 1/2 a size right from the start. I normally wear men’s boots & need to size down. They feel well made and are on the heavy/rugged side (steel toe). The color in photo appears as a light brown/khaki color but they’re a standard darker brown (non-issue for me but might be a preference for others.) The size issue is the only reason for 3 stars at this time, will update review after some time in the boots. Advertised as waterproof and slip resistant, great style. ... show more
