This men's medical coat has earned the Rugged Flex stamp of approval with the perfect amount of stretch, and is treated with the popular and reliable drying technology for durable water repellency that encourages the fluid to bead up and roll off before it gets the chance to soak in. This makes it perfect for any healthcare shift. The two large front patch side-entry pockets, with the front patch pocket on the wearers left proudly features the classic Carhartt logo, plus there is an exterior welt zip pocket on the wearer's left chest for storing smaller items securely. The jacket is a full front zip with a Carhartt logo zipper pull with a chin guard at the top of the zipper for comfort. It also features ribbed sleeve cuffs so you could pull your sleeves up if needed and they would stay put. You can also tuck the ribbed cuffs inside surgical gloves for an added barrier and to help keep anything from getting on the clothing or your skin. The bungee ID loop is placed smartly along the shoulder seam so that you can use it if needed, but it goes virtually unnoticed if not in use. I needed a fall jacket that could withstand a little water and look decent. I never thought of myself as a Carhartt person, but this jacket is cut nicely and fits great. The light fleece liner is soft and warm enough without being too hot.

I loveeee this scrub jacket!! I’m 27 days away from becoming an LVN and thought I’d purchase myself a little gift and I’m so happy I did. I bought a small in navy blue it fits well but I think a XS would have been a snugger fit. I’m 5’4 134lb if that helps!

I love this Carharrt jacket so much. It's like a Northface but perfect for work. Very durable and great pocket to hide my wallet on my chest without losing hand room. The fit is a but snug, so if you plan on wearing a sweater or sweatshirt or anything thick under it, size up.

I work as a veterinary technician in a cold, northern (Midwest) state. What I like: This is not only work-appropriate attire, but it also compliments all of my scrubs. It keeps me warm in our cold clinic, and even outside in above-freezing temperatures with mild wind. Overall comfortable with very useable pockets. Fur comes off pretty easily with a lint roller or when washed. Liquids can avoid being soaked into the fabric if you’re quick. Fabric thick enough to protect from scratches but somehow not suffocatingly warm or immobilizing. What I don’t like: I don’t recommend this for keeping warm below freezing temperatures or on windy days. Awful in the rain, water soaks in and gets you cold. No hood, collar does not come very high. Collar does like to stick up though, and it’s just high enough to be annoying in work environments. Fleece interior somehow collects hair despite being incredibly careful to lint roll EVERY surface before putting it back on, lint rolling the inside is possible but you’ll never get perfect results. Cuffs on sleeves are cloth fabric which are nice to keep warm but collect fur like crazy, and is separate from the more fur-resistant exterior so fur/hair can get in between the layers. Good luck getting the fur/hair out of there. Anything that isn’t pure water will leave a visible mark/stain until washed. Because of this, I highly recommend the black jacket color, as only whitish marks show (for me personally are easy to avoid). Overall: I love this thing. It’s perfect for my needs, only has minor annoyances that you honestly can look past/get used to because of how good everything else is. Rated four stars solely because of the long list of nitpicky things there are to dislike about the jacket. This is so comfy and warm! The navy color perfectly matched my scrubs and was priced pretty comparably with other brands. The zippers are great quality and I love the pockets. It does seem slightly heavy for some activities in the busy ER setting.

Really nice jacket but what ruins it for me is that the pockets are not deep enough so things obviously can fall out. This is really not great for me at work because pockets are important. So I don’t wear the jacket as much because of the pockets.
