So I have been waiting for Carhartt to come out with boots like this for women. I do wish they were the same as the soft toe with the wedge bottom. But they work. I love my soft toe boots. so I have very high hopes for these. I work 8-10 on concrete floors. In a manufacturing plant. I have been through so many shoes and boots, because I had foot surgery several years ago and nothing is comfortable to me. But today I wore them all day long. They were pretty comfortable usually with new shoes. I’ll take them off at first break and put my old ones back on, but not these. I do need to break them in a little bit, but not a lot. I do think they are going to be good boots. They are true to size. I usually wear a 7 in all my shoes and these are a 7. I can’t even tell they have the steel toe in them either. ... show more

A little tight getting on the first few times but within a week they were going on without a struggle. Ordered a 1/2 size smaller and they fit perfect. Very comfortable and love the looks of them. Not heavy like most steel toed boots.

I wish I could return these boots for a refund. My old pair was the same style boot in another brand name. These boots are so stiff. I've worn them for more than 3 weeks, at least 12 hours per day, 5 days per week and they just don't seem to be breaking in. The foot bed is hard and uncomfortable. When I walk, I can feel rocks, tree roots, and uneven ground through the bottom of the boots. They are about an inch higher on my ankle than my last boots and they have very little give in the elastic on the sides. I hate I changed brands. I guess I've learned my lesson. ... show more

These boots deliver serious value for the money. The durability is excellent they hold up well on tough surfaces and in wet conditions. The cushioning and support make them comfortable for long shifts, and despite the steel toe, the weight is surprisingly manageable. The fit is snug but flattering, and the Chelsea style keeps them looking sharp on or off the job site. One downside? Used during a summer job that required hard toe shoes, was nervous that they would be heavy but they were super comfortable. Did not have too many opportunities to get them wet so unsure of the water resistance but I appreciated how well they held up throughout the summer.
