I own about 9 pairs of Rugged Flex Loose Fit pants, lined or unlined, since I discovered this brand last year talking with a contractor who did our geothermal project. I was overjoyed to find the most comfortable & flattering work pants until about a months ago when I started ordering more of them for my mother who wears the same size - I received pants that are much tighter in the area of the bottom and thighs, regardless where the orders were placed (Amazon or the brand’s official website). I was very puzzled and determined to figure out why. After looking at the tags carefully I realized that the country of origin makes all the difference! Review from my wife: I would size down, these fit very generously. I can wear long underwear under these which is great if you really need to be in the cold. They are very soft and cozy inside but definitely wide leg. Unfortunately the size two are big so I will have to alter them. I don't usually have this issue with size 2, but this is my first Carhart purchase so maybe they generally run big. I tried boys lined Carhart's but the Women's are definitely a better style, I wish they made a Size 0. One additional comment: the pants are not flexible, meaning no stretch. I love the fabric and lining. These pants are super comfy in that respect and nice and warm. I ordered the relaxed fit to be sure I could wear an underlayer when it’s really cold, but these pants are too roomy for me. The waist band is good - ordering a size smaller would’ve made the waist band too tight - but the hips & legs are really big. I like the material the jeans are made of and also the fleece. They are very soft and comfortable to wear on a daily basis. If I had to make one complaint it’s I’m right handed and the loop and small lower pocket is on the left but that is still not enough of an issue for me.

These pants are super comfy and much warmer than without the fleece-lining. I wouldn’t call them flattering, they are Carhartt work pants. But they fit as expected and I’m most likely getting a second pair to get me through the winter! I got a 4 tall, my inseam is 33-34 and these fit great.
