Bought these for service plumbing work at a university. The steel toe was hard for my feet to get used to (I should’ve bought a wider size) but once broken in it was quite nice. Shoe is tight and supportive in the way a boot should be but doesn’t look bulky and overbearing. Comfortable fit once broken in and stylish boot as well. I might recommend getting the soft toe if you’re not sure that you need it. The waterproofing on this shoe is ridiculous! I love it! These have a nice look and husband says that they’ve been a good fit, comfortable with decent traction. They’ve held up extremely well, considering he’s a mechanic and usually only gets about six months from a pair of boots.

I honestly had to size up. The arch is great!! But it’s so narrow at the toes, I had to size up. I hate that companies make men’s/woman’s work boots so different. This does have the down falls with sizing up. It feels loose everywhere else. I tried four different boots and these were the best ones. I returned them 3x to get the right feel. Wear them in the shop and out on the job site; very durable and comfortable. The tread could be a little more “grippy”, but the sole is a lot easier to clean before going back into the office. The steel toes add a little weight, but better safe than sorry.

i just started in blue collar (carpentry) a couple weeks ago and just needed a reliable pair of steel toes. these are so ridiculously comfy, i love them. they definitely have a bit of a platform to them but nothing i cant adjust to! everybody was saying size up so i went half a size up and it ended up being just the tiniest bit too big but i can manage. i say follow your gut with the sizing, other than that these are great, we’ll see how long they hold up! ... show more

These boots are the most uncomfortable boots I have ever worn, and I am on my feet for 12 hours a day, so I absolutely do not recommend these for a work boot. My feet ache so bad to the point I have to sit down and take a break.

My husband is a heavy set man. He works in electrical so he is usually out on construction sites and comes home with his feet hurting a lot, when I was looking for new work boots for him I did my research and decided on these, this is by far the best pair of work boots he has owned and he’s owned some really good brands. As far as comfortability, his feet never hurt. He can wear these boots for 16 hour shifts and will not have aching feet as well as his feet do not smell at all.
