  • Favorite Boots so far!! On my second pair
Size: 14 Color: Brown
This is my second pair of these boots. I bought my first pair in 2021 and I wore them almost everyday. I have problems with my feet due to an injury that I received during a deployment while serving in the Army years prior, and my feet are in pain a lot of the time. Because of that I am very particular when it comes to foot wear, specifically work boots. Boots are all different and are intended for different purposes. I am a Project Manager in the construction industry so I am not always required to wear steel toe boots, but I do spend most of my day actively on my feet moving around these are great for that as well as outside of work for casual activities. I have other pairs of boots for hunting, cold weather, fishing that I wouldn’t wear these boots for because they aren’t intended for those things. I highly recommend these boots if you are looking for comfort as well as style. I have never had anything from Carharrt that I didn’t absolutely love. The quality and durability is unmatched. Easy to put on and take off, they don’t pinch my toes, and have great traction on slippery surfaces. These boots are worth every penny ... show more

  • Outstanding Lace Up work Boot
Size: 13 Wide Color: Brown
I recently purchased the Carhartt Men's CMX4023 Lightweight Casual Wedge, 4" Soft Moc Toe boots, and I must say, I'm thoroughly impressed. As someone with wide feet, finding comfortable footwear that doesn't sacrifice style or durability can be a challenge. However, these boots exceeded my expectations on all fronts. Firstly, let's talk about the weight. True to their name, these boots are incredibly lightweight. From the moment I slipped them on, I could feel the difference compared to other work boots I've worn in the past. Despite their sturdy construction, they don't weigh me down or make me feel like I'm lugging around bricks on my feet. This is particularly beneficial for those long days on the job where comfort is key. Now, onto the fit. As someone with wide feet, finding boots that accommodate my foot shape without feeling constrictive can be a struggle. However, the Carhartt CMX4023 boots offer ample room in the toe box area without sacrificing overall support. The moc toe design provides additional wiggle room for my toes, preventing any discomfort or pinching, even after hours of wear. Plus, the lace-up closure allows for customizable adjustability, ensuring a snug fit that doesn't feel too tight or too loose. In terms of style, these boots hit the mark. The classic moc toe design paired with the 4" wedge sole gives them a timeless yet modern aesthetic that effortlessly transitions from the job site to casual outings. Whether paired with jeans or work pants, these boots add a rugged charm to any ensemble. Durability-wise, Carhartt has once again delivered. The quality craftsmanship and materials used in the construction of these boots are evident from the moment you lay eyes on them. From the reinforced stitching to the robust leather upper, these boots are built to withstand the rigors of daily wear and tear, ensuring they'll be a staple in my wardrobe for years to come. Overall, I can't recommend the Carhartt Men's CMX4023 Lightweight Casual Wedge, 4" Soft Moc Toe boots enough, especially for those with wide feet like myself. With their lightweight construction, comfortable fit, and durable design, they're a solid investment for anyone in need of reliable footwear that doesn't compromise on style or functionality. ... show more

  • I've worked 5 24 hour shifts in these.
Size: 8.5 Wide Color: Brown
They're extremely reliable and the laces hold well, comfortable enough to wear for 24 hours straight (I'm 5 9 260 lbs so you know these are well built)

  • Decent boot
Size: 9.5 Color: Brown
They are pretty comfortable out of the box. I will say I always replace stock insoles with Spenco original green flat insoles to pair with my Birkenstock orthotics so can't rate the insoles. For the most part they are pretty comfy walking on cement all day, BUT by the end of the day your feet will be a bit sore. The soles are not designed for weather so consider them a warm weather summer boot. Wouldn't recommend walking off trail, as the soles are not built for any trail dirt walking. If your looking for a decent work boot, this one might be what you want. Jury is still out on this for me on rather to re buy but it's not a bad shoe by any means, just limited due to the soles.. ... show more

  • You'll be surprised by how comfortable they are.
Size: 11.5 Color: Brown
Not surprisingly, these boots seem rugged and durable after 3 months of almost daily wear. What does surprise me is that these may be the most comfortable shoes I own. They are light weight. Provide good support (both arch and ankle). Warm but not hot. They're not the most heavy duty work boots (no steel toe) but that probably contributes to the comfort. OSHA be damned! They are so comfortable I ordered a similar leather sneaker from Carhartt. ... show more

  • Soooo Comfy and Light
Size: 9 Color: Brown
I was skeptical, but based on other reveiws i decided to order. Boots fit as expected. In sole wasnt the best, i bought timberland pro insoles for these boots. I am on my feet for 10hrs a day, 6days a week. I out a beating on my feet every day. As a commercial contractor/carpenter, im on concrete 85% of the time, and am very active. I would and have paid a lot of money for comfort. These boots looked great, feel great and were inexpensive. There was a 2 week break in, that was a little rough, but it was definitely worth it. By far the most comfortable boot/insole combo I have ever had.I found out along time ago that a good insole will make a pay of $45 cheap boots feel better then $300 boot with bad insole shape and/or cushion. I have tried $50-$300 boots, i normally pay around $200. I typically get between 6months to 1year out of boots. So far im at 4months and they are still holding up good. The toe rubber started peeling off the leather a little, but seems to not be getting worse. I dont think they will be the longest lasting boots ive ever owned, but are the most comfy. I would buy these every 6months if I have to. If you buy these boots with timberland pro insoles, you will be walking on clouds. ... show more
