So far so good, I’m a roofing technician, I wish the boots had a bit more grip on the soles. But I do like how comfy they are. I wear them all day and so far so good, they are broken in fairly quickly. I have wide feet and got a size 9 wide and it’s true to size.

Spent 3 or 4 days comparing different steel toe boots and finally decided the best I was going to find for my money were the same boots I've been wearing - these Carhartts. This is the only boot that's lasted me more than 2 years. These 2 pairs of boots are the exact same in the picture. The old pair lasted about 2.5 years which is a lot more than I've gotten out of any other brands in 10+ years on the job. I'm a heavy equipment technician and do a lot of Navy/Coast Guard/fishing boat work. Those top decks are super rough and they eat up boots (mostly why the steel toe is exposed on the old boots.) These boots are comfy and not near as expensive as lesser brands. Best bang for your buck ... show more

Boots do the job and are comfortable. Only thing and only issue I have is the treading wore out in the back and middle within 6 months.

I bought these Carhartt boots from my boyfriend. He works outside and needs something durable and warm. 1. got them for a steal 2. they fit true to size 3. they are comfortable and last forever. 4. they are also stylish, he can dress them up/down.

Wore these in a management position for ~6 months (walking around 8 miles/day) and they were mostly worn out. No tread left on the bottom, and the leather stretched an incredible amount. The boots are also very heavy, at least they feel much heavier than my Thorogood’s. (Also steel toe, comparing apples to apples.) I would not recommend these, save up some money and get a better boot. I’m going on over a year in Thorogood’s and they are holding up significantly better. ... show more

As of writing this I have been wearing these for one month. I do a lot of walking in a factory environment. I get a new pair of boots every year and always dread the first week of painful rubbing from some part and that did not happen with these! They were really comfortable right out of the box. I just moved to Seattle and needed something waterproof. I ordered Thorogood boots and was so disappointed. I sent them right back. Terrible fit. Super narrow. These had some mixed reviews online but for the price I figured I’d go for it. Very very happy with these Carhartt boots. Very comfy right out of the box. Waterproof as stated. They look sharp. I have wide feet and these boots are perfect. My wife liked them so much on me she had me order some for my son to wear to school. He picked the black soft toes. I have the brown steel toes. I water treated them. (The pics is before the treatment and have they original color) They have a rich brown color now. They look more like the redwing Briar tone. I swapped out the laces for black ones. I would highly recommend. I even ordered the 4” versions from them as a more casual option. I would prefer silver eyelets but that’s getting picky.
