The Rugged Flex name describes this tough Carhartt work boot perfectly. Rugged durability engineered with materials and components to work as hard as you do. The 8" height, Oil Tanned Leather, Storm Defender waterproof membrane and 400g 3M Thinsulate insulation all work together to keep you safe and dry. Cement constructed with Carhartt rubber Rugged Flex outsole and five layers of cushion keep you comfortable all day. Composite safety toe is ASTM 2413-11 EH Rated.

I got these for my husband, we have had a hard time finding boots that can stand up to all the walking he does, he has not stopped raving about how awesome they are! Whether he’s going up ladders or digging in the mud his feet are completely dry and very warm, however he says he will only be able to wear them in the winter they will be Way too warm for the summer hopefully they will come out with a less insulated boots! Good boot. I have had them for a couple months now. I go thru a pair of boots every year working construction 6 days a week. I would like to see a loop on the back to help pull them on in the morning.

They was very good boots put a different insole in them . I worked 12 hour shift and they was comfortable with the different insoles

Very disappointed. Have been wearing the Carharrt PAC 10 inch boots and love them. Bought these based on my current and previous experience with Carharrt. The foot bed in these, are hard like cheap boots. Only padding is what you add. The original inner soles aren't the greatest. No loop at the back to make putting them on easier. The shoe lace grabber and D-day rings that are on other Carharrt boots (and many cheaper brands) are not present on this version. Initial impression and after a few days of wearing them, I can find nothing to really justify Rhett highest price, other than a brand label. ... show more

This is the 3rd pair of these boot I have purchased. The previous 2 lasted over a year each at work. This last pair are separating between the toes and soles, and one has splits on the toe cap. They are less than 2 months old. Unacceptable! this the last pair of these boots I will purchase.
