This immediately became my new favorite jacket. It's perfect for those Spring days that can vary in temperature day to day and hour to hour. It's warm enough for a brief walk in the morning when it's in the 40s (F). But I'm not sweating wearing it home in the afternoon when it's in the 60s. I haven't had the chance to test it in heavy rain yet, but I've had no issues with it in light rain. The hood is a great size: large enough to cover your head and hang over slightly to protect your face, but not so huge that it's constantly falling over your eyes and getting in the way. The back is slightly longer than the front. It's not quite long enough to fully cover your rear while sitting, but it is enough to perch or lean against something. This is a good happy medium for me. It's also sized generously. I purchased my regular clothing size and it fits loosely, as intended. There is plenty of room for me to wear a sweater or sweatshirt under on chillier days and it still is not tight in the slightest. I also really like the double zipper. It's handy to have just the middle portion zipped on a warmer day to keep it together yet breezy - like buttoning a single button on a cardigan.

Hands down the best jacket I own. It’s waterproof material keeps me dry without sweating me out and sticking to my skin, because that’s the worst. It is lightweight enough to wear a hoodie under when it’s colder but warm enough to wear alone. It’s a little longer so it does cover your bottom which when it rains is super nice and it’s a little drawn in at the waist to give a less slouchy look. The hood covers my head and hair, which is a must and it was true to size. I would buy it in every color if it was made.

Nice material, well made, I probably could have sized down. But the hood is big enough to cover my forehead so that is good as well. Color was true. Looks nice, plan to wear it in Europe.

I absolutely love this lightweight rain jacket. I have a wonderful Pendleton slicker for heavy rain that is also fairly long. I needed a shorter, lightweight jacket for drizzling rain and this fits the bill. I was pleased with its length and flexibility. I can work and move without constraints. I’m 5’4+ and 140 lbs and the medium fit nicely. I have other Carhartt ijackets and it’s a brand I’ve been impressed with.
