I recently purchased the Carhartt Men's CMX4023 Lightweight Casual Wedge, 4" Soft Moc Toe boots, and I must say, I'm thoroughly impressed. As someone with wide feet, finding comfortable footwear that doesn't sacrifice style or durability can be a challenge. However, these boots exceeded my expectations on all fronts. Firstly, let's talk about the weight. True to their name, these boots are incredibly lightweight. From the moment I slipped them on, I could feel the difference compared to other work boots I've worn in the past. Despite their sturdy construction, they don't weigh me down or make me feel like I'm lugging around bricks on my feet. This is particularly beneficial for those long days on the job where comfort is key. Now, onto the fit. As someone with wide feet, finding boots that accommodate my foot shape without feeling constrictive can be a struggle. However, the Carhartt CMX4023 boots offer ample room in the toe box area without sacrificing overall support. I wear these boots to work every day and I have found myself keeping them on when I get home because they’re so comfortable. They are like working in bedroom slippers!! Supper soft leather and only took 2 work days to break them in

They are pretty comfortable out of the box. I will say I always replace stock insoles with Spenco original green flat insoles to pair with my Birkenstock orthotics so can't rate the insoles. For the most part they are pretty comfy walking on cement all day, BUT by the end of the day your feet will be a bit sore. The soles are not designed for weather so consider them a warm weather summer boot. Wouldn't recommend walking off trail, as the soles are not built for any trail dirt walking. If your looking for a decent work boot, this one might be what you want. Jury is still out on this for me on rather to re buy but it's not a bad shoe by any means, just limited due to the soles..

I’ve put 4+ years of hard miles on these boots wearing them to work everyday in a motorcycle shop exposed to lots of chemicals, oils and abuse and they have been through multiple sole inserts and a pair of shoe laces and still holding up. They are very comfy and the longest lasting work shoes I’ve ever owned so my wife decided to get me another pair for Christmas. Would give 10 stars if I could. Best work boots for the money by far

Had these for a couple months now and absolutely love them. Took about a week to break in, and now they’re easily the most comfortable work boot I’ve worn. Comfortable enough that I wear them outside of work on a regular basis too. I’ve put a beeswax based leather waterproofer on them, and they seem to be holding up very nicely.

Great boots for the price. One of the most comfortable boots i have purchased yet. I have only had them for a short time so will see how they hold up. On the top of the boot the stitching started coming apart on the second day wearing them but other then that they are great. I did change the laces that came with them because they were hard to keep tight. Other then that they are excellent. If they hold up I will purchase again. Great price for the boots.
