I work 4 tens as an electrician, most residential. I'm 180 pounds and 5'11" and wear these every work day. I've had them 3 months and I love them compared to working in tennis shoes. I can balance on ladders much better due to my heel being flat instead separated like how most boots are, you also don't get that mud caked up on the heels like with other boots. There still is arch support you just can't see it on the outside design of the boot. These are small boots and honestly perfect for what I do. I have to balance a lot in attics and on ladders and my feet are so much less sore than when I was wearing running shoes because of how much more room my feet have. They have held up well and I have never cleaned them other than scraping off mud. They are exposed to sheet rock dust and crawling in attics and crawl spaces. I was expecting the toe to suffer to due to how much I crawl under houses but they have held up well. Would buy again, but hesitantly because 140 is a lot.

I hate breaking in new boots. However, these seem to be easier then other. They are light on the feet, comfortable and just feel good. I mainly use them around the ranch and casual; not construction or industrial environments. I’ll buy them again.

These were for my 88 year old Dad, who still farms. He's the kind of guy that buys the same model of shoe for years.... until they stop making it! LOL He was convinced there was NOTHING that would be just like what he had. His list was long... 5-6 inch tall, prongs for the laces, no padding at the ankle, a flat sole, (like a sneaker) no big tread that catches mud, protective toe, leather, lightweight, etc... I think I looked at 60,000 pairs of shoes! Except for the protective toe, these fit the bill.... and he actually likes them! :) I don't think they required much breaking in, fortunately. They looked good... for the first day! ;) Now they look like farmers boots! He has always worn a size 12 M... he needed a 13W in these.

It's the most comfortable casual and light duty work boot I have ever worn in my 50 plus years in construction! This is my 2nd pair. My first pair is over 3 years old and have had no problems with them except only the shoe strings! I'm still wearing them also
