Since I know a lot of us have nickel allergies and NOWHERE does it tell you what the buckle is made of I thought I should let you all know that it's a powder-coated Zinc Alloy. No nickel. I reached out to Carhartt directly to get this information. If you have a nickel allergy you should be OK with this one. Other than that it's a beast of a belt. Really nice secure latching. The TPU anti-slip part really does the trick. It's a nice thick webbing. The branding is subtle and it has a nice sheen to it. Tightening and loosening takes a little getting used to but it's not bad. Definitely worth it.

Belt is abit on the long side js bare that in mind if you buy Decent belt, good buckle but if youre buying for everyday carry look elsewhere (updated) . . Update- been wearing for awhile has worked out good for inwaistband holstering. Comfortable.. i set my belt on the tight side anyways. So far so good.. my former primary belt wasnt a edc focused belt just a dickies latch lock which was very unreliable. Chose this belt over others due to the quick release as ive encounted many situations of having pants on fire welding or ants soo.. good to have feature and buckle seems tough, been good.

Great belt. Exactly what I was looking for. Durable to last. Tough enough to deal with tools. And the clip seems durable as well. Only downside is the clip barely fits through some belt loops. Some loops that are slightly smaller it can be downright frustrating.

I was looking for a belt that I could wear in informal situations, and this one fit the description. For instance, when working outside, I prefer jeans, but I still need a flexible belt. It has a very nice amount of stretch, but still retains a good grip on the waist. For reference, I got this belt with some old gift-card money, so the price wasn't really an issue, but the general listed price sounds reasonable now that I've had time to try it out. Durability wise, this thing feels indestructable! I was a little skeptical of the latch including some plastic parts, but it hasn't popped open or anything, and it doesn't feel like it's going to break any time soon. I would highly recomend it to anyone, and will continue wearing mine.

I like this belt. It’s a great belt and very durable, but, lately, the plastic buckle part that clips into the metal buckle holder hasn’t been staying together. It’s like the plastic part separates to where it doesn’t fork out fully to hold in the buckle holder. So, every time I sit down or bend over the belt comes undone and I’m always having to re-attach it. Do you know how frustrating this is when you work construction? I’m so p.o.ed now over this. Think it’s time to go to GrooveLife. Carhartt just doesn’t seem to have it together anymore.

I am a fan of Carhartt products because of their brand ethos of rugged durability. I have owned many belts in the past for casual dress and everyday use, and somehow they all become torn up quickly when I wear them. This belt is as tough as it gets, and can be adjustable to the perfect fit. Would recommend.

I am a bigger man and have been loosing weight lately and needed a new belt. I liked the idea that this one would be cut to fit as the weight came off. Unfortunately, the buckle did not hold up as intended. There is a secondary clasp to hold the buckle to the belt and several of the teeth have broken off and it now pulls off the belt when used. I loved showing off this belt and liked the way it worked, but now it is back to a standard belt.

It is a good sturdy belt however it wasn't what I wanted so I returned it. For one it's pretty thick and wide compared to most web belts, it doesn't bend or give easily. Second, the "buckle" clasp is kind of big and combined with the stiffness of the belt, I found the belt cumbersome to slide/fit under avg belt loops. Finally, adjusting the length of the belt on the fly is also more difficult than picking a hole or pulling it through a double loop. Overall it was just too much effort for me, I wanted something more basic and simple. If you are looking for a more robust work belt though this might be a good option.
