Aside from my Reebok Rapid Response boots, these are the best boots I’ve tried on in recent years. The color is eye catching, they are comfortable straight out of the box, and they hold up pretty well. I will say this though: they can get dirty easily. Was at a campfire one night and some black ash got on it. Overall, would definitely recommend!

Have had them for a week so far. Very very comfortable and seem to be built much better than the Timberland WP 6" boots I've been buying for years. These are much more aesthetically pleasing and fit better. I'm size 10.5-11 depending on the brand. Size 11 fit perfect for me. Time will tell if they hold up to abuse, but carhartt products usually do! Very happy with purchase and will likely pick up a second pair ***UPDATE: Have had them for awhile now (4-5 months) and can honestly say they are the best boots I've owned. Very very comfortable and holding up to everything I put them through. No signs of loose stitching or any other flaws yet. Have had them outside in the snow and ice for a month now and they keep my feet warm and have plenty of traction. Great support and they look great too. Definitely will be buying another pair. ****UPDATE: Going on over 3 years now since purchased. Boots are holding up fantastic, laces are still in like new condition. No leaks, tears, or issues with sole splitting. These are hands down the best boots I’ve ever had. Very comfortable, I wear them almost daily for long periods of time. Warm in the winter working out in the barn and yard. Carhartt really nailed this one. Buy them!

Rugged Flex 6" Composite Toe Work Boot

I have owned two pairs of Magnum Stealth Force 6.0 SZ CT. 6" Size Zip, Composite Toe work boots with "Kick Pad" (behind heel reinforcing). Great boots. I decided to change it up with the Carhartt Rugged Flex 6" Composite Toe work boot. I am thoroughly pleased. Of the main features the Magnum Stealth Force had that attracted me was the side zip. However, the side zip never really stood out as one of the boots strengths. The side zip is perhaps not as functional as one would expect (i.e. you still need to untie and loosen the laces to remove). The Kick Pad, obviously has its benefits in use. Certainly solid boots, indeed. The Carhartt Rugged Flex 6" Composite Toe work boot not only has the "Kick Pad" as represented by a reinforced outer heel, but also incorporates an outer reinforced toe pad. A feature I really like in a set of Wenger hiking boots I own that are not dissimilar to Keens toe reinforcing. Personally, I went with the 13 Wide. I felt that the little extra toe box width would serve me well. I was pleasantly surprised that the wide version did not create a situation where my foot was able to "float" in the boot, which would obviously create issues during strenuous wear situations. Additionally, I had purchased a set of cushioning insoles thinking that the stock ones would not provide enough comfort for my feet in extended wear situations. I was wrong. The stock insoles are nicely cushioned and quite comfortable. I will replace the stock insoles with the new insoles at a later date when it becomes necessary. Overall, very pleased with the construction, durability, look and feel of the Carhartt Rugged Flex 6" Composite Toe work boots. I anticipate them being long lasting and will not hesitate to buy another pair in the future.

Great Boot !!

It is Jan. 5, 2020... I bought these Carhartt's in Feb. 2019 and I really am impressed with these Boots!! I have worn Timberland Boots for so long and became so concerned about their decreasing quality... I would normally have to replace my Timberland's about every 8-months, mainly because the Water-proofing would fail & the leather would also tear or rip. These Carhartt Boots show less than "half" of the wear-n-tear that the Timberland's would normally have at this age. The entire boot is still fully intact and "nothing" has become detached or loose. The soul is still firmly bonded to the boot without any failure anywhere! They also still remain exceptionally "Water-proof"! Virtually nothing has worn out on these Carhartt boots. The inner footliner has not flattened out or become hard, it's still comfortable! The only thing I've replaced was a pair of boot-laces last month! And the best thing... these are a lot less expensive than the Timberland's that I'm used buying! I will buy more of these!! Highly recommended !! UPDATE: On May 22, 2020 one of the boots finally leaked and got my foot wet. Am I upset... NO! These boots have outlasted every pair of Timberlands that I've "ever owned"! Outlast them by 7-8 months! The carhartt's are still very comfortable, there is no visible damage or tears in the materials, the souls are still very much intact, they just have a small leak now. A lot more than I can say for Timberland. I'll definately continue to buy Carhartt boots!

Puts shame on the Carhartt brand

Junk, I’ve bought Carhartt products for years because they hold up and are good quality. These boots failed to meet my expectations. Less than 2 months of wearing them the entire sole has split away from the bottom of the shoe. I think a Walmart pair would have held up longer than these.

Nice work boots

One of my favorite pair of work boots that I've purchased. With my job I go through boots pretty quickly and these ones seem to hold up the longest. I like the composite toe as opposed to steel toe. The boots are very comfortable and the foot bed seems to fit my foot perfectly feet don't seem as sore at the end of the day. They are very lightweight and keep my feet at the perfect temperature. They are good at keeping feet dry unless foot is fully submerged under water. When it comes time to replace the ones I'm currently using, no doubt about it I will buy the 3xact same pair!
