My husband is a brutal diabetic who is on home hemodialysis, with kidney failure, and heart failure. He works full-time and his feet are very important. He works all over the north end of our state going from job site to job site in these huge factories and businesses. He’s required to have steel toed boots. He’s on these concrete floors all day. These are the only boots I’ve ever found in 19 years of searching that don’t hurt his feet so I am happy to pay the $100, because they last him much longer than any boot I’ve ever tried. Usually boots only last 2-3 months and if memory serves, it’s been a year since I bought the same boot for him. I would say I’ve actually saved money buying these boots. They are not overly heavy. They keep his feet warm in the winter not too hot in the summer. He loves the color. The fit is definitely fabulous. Having the option of a wide toe helps tremendously. The seller shipped the boots out right away. There was no delay in getting them. We highly recommend these boots in particular. Solid boot. Good comfort, accurate sizing, good laces. Pretty good looking, too versus the typical black or tan steel toe work boot. Rugged as my Red Wing steel ties but lighter in weight.

Speed hook broke after only two hours of wear. Would definitely not recommend if you plan on walking for more than an hour in these boots.

Good boots, 5 months in industrial rigging, still dry, one minor cut in leather on one toe. 8 to 15 hr days 26 out of 30 days a month. They get worked.

My son is on his feet 14 to 16 hours a day and a lot of the time he is in water and his feet stay dry....he says that these are very comfortable and he doesn't really even notice that they are on his feet doesn't hurt like they use to the arch support is perfect.
