The composite toe provides excellent protection while being lighter than steel toe alternatives, reducing foot fatigue during long workdays. Comfort is exceptional right out of the box with minimal break-in period needed. The cushioning and arch support handle 10+ hour days without discomfort. My feet feel supported and comfortable even on concrete floors. Build quality is vintage Carhartt - built to last. The leather is thick and durable, stitching is solid, and the sole shows minimal wear despite daily abuse. These boots handle rough terrain, debris, and heavy use without showing significant wear. Great boot, I've been wearing them for 7-8 months now, still feel, and look brand new. I am always on my feet as I'm an HVAC Installer, the composite toe is a great investment as your boots don't feel like bricks. They hold up extremely well compared to other boots I've tried, wide enough where your feet aren't restricted, but secure enough where your feet don't slide everywhere. Great value as these can easily last you 2 years. You don't even need to buy insoles at all as they're comfortable when they arrive. Great boot bottom line ... show more

My first pair of real work boots I've bought for my job. They fit real good and the front has ample space for my toes. My feet don't feel fatigue at all after they're worn in and they ware in after about a week or 2 of use. I've worn them in 11°f weather with blistering winds on metal and they keep the cold out pretty well but after standing still for awhile no shoe can keep the cold out. The only problem I had with them is the outer sole shaved down after about a year on concrete and gripped pads and after that they don't grip well on wet metal surfaces. Furthermore I'd like to point out that even when the soles are brand new they slip easy on ice so beware. Other than that these are excellent shoes. I like the composite toe because it won't go off in metal detectors and saves your feet. They have saved my feet countless times from being crushed, broken and even impaled one time. I haven't owned many pairs of boots but I can say these are one of my favorites so far. Also my feet never got wet after being rained on all night ... show more

Good boots. Good for offshore working environment. Not sure it is fully waterproof yet. Will update when it happens. Comfortable, good for full 12 hours use. I hope they will have zip or easy slip on version next time. It takes a bit of time to out it on compare to the slip on . Good styling I would say. ... show more
