The Easton Typhoon -12 is a one-piece aluminum small barrel design constructed of lightweight and durable ALX100 Performance Alloy. The -12 design provides a lighter swing weight, providing more speed behind the ball at contact. It features a concave end cap and a cushioned all sports grip, providing additional comfort in the hands. It is approved for play in leagues and associations that follow the USA Baseball standard.

Bought for our first year of baseball after my son was swinging his Tball bat with a lot more success than the heavier weighted bat he got for Christmas. He immediately felt more comfortable with this bat. Quality of bat seems great so far, and he’s being pretty rough with it already.

My son is 7 yo playing AA in Little league. He likes the bat. We use it for coach pitching/ player pitching and didn’t have issues. Weight is light enough for my son for faster swing. Like the bright color too.

5 full stars... Best pop / sweet spot. Best for teaching quick hands and fast swing. Low vibration when missing the sweet spot (though, I recommend hitting gloves for both hands). The competitor bats are larger diameter and seemed harder for my son to control. My son hit far better with this bat vs the competitors.
