Brand new Carhartt footbed with Insite Technology brings a new level of comfort and fit. CAD designed based on 120,000 3D foot scans to bring you the best possible insole. Engineered to create maximum arch support to reduce foot fatigue during long days on the job. Ax Suede top cover material provides 30% more grip which helps reduce fatigue on your feet as well as heat. Two layers of foam provide soft cushion as well as shock absorption. Composite safety toe is wide to give you room for comfort and safety. Lightweight proprietary EVA midsole. Formulated for rebound and energy recovery the midsole absorbs foot strike impact. Energy rubber outsole provides grip, traction and flexibility with every step. Oil, chemical, and slip resisting. Meets electrical hazard hazard rating ASTM 2413-24 EH. Great boot, I've been wearing them for 7-8 months now, still feel, and look brand new. I am always on my feet as I'm an HVAC Installer, the composite toe is a great investment as your boots don't feel like bricks. They hold up extremely well compared to other boots I've tried, wide enough where your feet aren't restricted, but secure enough where your feet don't slide everywhere. Good boots. Good for offshore working environment. Not sure it is fully waterproof yet. Will update when it happens. Comfortable, good for full 12 hours use. I hope they will have zip or easy slip on version next time. It takes a bit of time to out it on compare to the slip on . Good styling I would say. ... show more

My first pair of real work boots I've bought for my job. They fit real good and the front has ample space for my toes. My feet don't feel fatigue at all after they're worn in and they ware in after about a week or 2 of use. I've worn them in 11°f weather with blistering winds on metal and they keep the cold out pretty well but after standing still for awhile no shoe can keep the cold out. The only problem I had with them is the outer sole shaved down after about a year on concrete and gripped pads and after that they don't grip well on wet metal surfaces. Furthermore I'd like to point out that even when the soles are brand new they slip easy on ice so beware. Other than that these are excellent shoes. I like the composite toe because it won't go off in metal detectors and saves your feet. They have saved my feet countless times from being crushed, broken and even impaled one time. I haven't owned many pairs of boots but I can say these are one of my favorites so far. Also my feet never got wet after being rained on all night ... show more

I have had about 4 pair of these boots. I was disappointed the last did not fit the same as the previous sets. I don’t suspect my foot has changed that much. Otherwise, a comfortable boot and relatively light with the composite toe .

The only style of work boot I've bought for the last 5 years. Once I found this boot I haven't strayed away. I just purchased pair number 5. A very comfortable boot. The wide toe box is great. Quality is unmatched

Solid, heavy duty feeling boot. Spring like step when you walk. Tried to save money and bought a pair of Wolverine legends but they feel weak and light in comparison. Feels like the sole is barely there

About these boots in june. And then had hip surgery in july. So I've only been wearing them now for about a month and a half and the top tour. I've probably had close to 10 pair of these boots over the years and this is the first set to ever do this. I'm hoping someone will see this review and offer some sort of help. Most comfortable boot out there. I've had 4 pairs of them now, usually get a full year out of them. Slip resistance really works well, even in oil. Definitely recommend. Waterproofing is great too. Had them up to the tongue in water and not a drop on my socks
