Lots of big brands out there to choose from. Carhartt got a great reputation for clothes, but I had never tried their boots. Boots look great and fit was perfect. Felt great after the first 15 minutes, no need to break them in. Wore them to work all day with no issue. I would recommend these.

Long story short....bought them in November 2024. In some ways I still feel like I'm breaking them in. These things are built tough. Yes I have more than one pair of boots and no I don't daily these. Would I recommend these as a daily? That would be up to you. These are my first logger boot and have bought two other bran's of loggers just cause I like the style. Been approached by other guys at work who like them too. Do your history...the Logger style had some key points that I liked. -All Terrain -Arch Support -Durability What else do you need. ... show more

First, I'll say that the leather on these is nice and thick and sturdy. Anyone who says different is just lying. But, the 8.5M is just too tight for me. I have broken in lots of 8.5M safety toe boots, and I am quite confident 8.5M in these just won't get there. One other small thing. I know these have a steel shank, but I just don't feel it's up to snuff with some other brands. I climb on gaffs, and when I put these on and got in my gaffs, IDK, I could feel it. Maybe they would have eventually conformed, but I couldn't risk it. I've got other boots that were better out of the box when I climbed. Just want to finish this review by saying that not all brands fit everyone. I am a Keen, Wolverine, Salomon person. Those brands just fit me like a glove. So nothing against Carhartt here. ... show more

I am a diesel mechanic and was searching for another set of boots due to red wings sole failing after 3 years. Wanted to try something different. Never tried logger type boots before. Found these at a local tractor supply but no available size. I vary between 10-10 1/2 and was skeptical to order online as usually need to try on first. I did love the amazon prime wardrobe option to try on for 7 days. Ordered size 10 with regular width fit and I have flat feet. Once received tried on and really liked fit as well as comfort and arch support of boot. Took about a week to break in and at first was a little tight around the toes. After the first week or two no longer tight around the toes. Very comfortable, non slip and great grip with tread. Love the support and stance of logger type boots as well as these are waterproof. I’m in these boots for usually over 12 hours plus a day and even when not working all I wear is boots. Boots I wear are constantly abused with various fluids such as oil, coolant, etc... and have lasted well so far. Highly recommend purchasing. ... show more

I bought these boots 2/23 probably have worn them maybe 15 times total they are nice looking boots comfortable all except the ankle I've tried different socks from work socks to ski boot socks nothing helps. Kinda lost out of 190 bucks seeing I won't be able to wear them with out being in pain after a few hours of wearing them ... show more

I've been a Stationary Engineer for 36 years. I've tried every different type of boot from Dickies to Redwings. I got maybe 8 months of boot for the work I do. I bought these on May 20, 2022, and they are still kicking ass!! My treads are getting low and waterproofing is getting old. I'm going to buy them once again!! I love these boots!
