Amazon had best price I could find . Arrived in 3 days...good. No instructions, but I had read Carefree's installation guide and also the good info in reviews here. This was installed 4-10-20. Arm end that attaches to roller had three, not two holes for attaching, and three self tapping screws were provided. I predrilled 7/64 inch holes. Three screws is obviously better than the two that were in original arm that was being replaced. Holes in camper exactly matched new arm attachment piece. Put new sealant on attachment bolts into camper. Supported awning end with rope as suggested by others here. Easy installation overall...had the wife help, although could probably do by self as others have done. Finally...DON'T FORGET TO REMOVE THE TWO COTTER PINS IN THE TOP OF THE ARM HEAD!!! ... show more

R001643BLK is adjustable. This went on a 2022 arctic fox 811 and is the exact match for the left side. (Non motorized side). The right side on this camper is the motorized side. And is a different part number. The picture in the item description shows a different part that I belive is the non adjustable version. ... show more

This was a perfect match for the broken arm on my Carefree Travel'r awning. This would have received a 5 star rating but Carefree doesn't include any instructions for replacement. Even after I got their installation manual, the actual installation section is very light. It would be really helpful if Carefree were to include a replacement installation instruction. ... show more

Exact as original! It was very breeze to install. It only took me about 30 minutes to remove bad one and put up new one. Another 30 minutes of tightening and sealing then test. Total of 1 hour work. The shop wanted about 800.00 (that was for estimation!) They wanted like 600 dollars for this arm plus labor cost! I decided to do it myself and ordered this from Amazon. All it take is do your homework before doing it your self! ... show more

    • Confusing or misleading photos
Product is of good quality and price is good. However some of the info in the listing is erroneous and/or contradictory. The view installed on the trailer (white) matches my awning but apparently is not the actual product. The other views (in black) are difficult to see key details. Ultimately did not match my Carefree awning and had to return. Amazon has been extremely slow on the refund (they've had the undamaged part back in their possession for weeks and keep delaying refund which has impacted ability to order correct replacement. Poor customer service is leading me to reconsider my intent to purchase replacement from them. ... show more

2019 Kodiak by Dutchman travel trailer. It's a two person install, and takes about two hours to complete. I used zip ties to keep both arms from extending, while doing the installation. This allows installation of the tube after having threaded the awning into that, otherwise, the arms want to move back and forth, and would be difficult to set the screws. ... show more
