I read many reviews before ordering. This was almost the exact same carb that was original. The only difference was the tube where the fuel line would connect was curved instead of straight. It fit right up no problem. It came with a new gasket and also air filter and spark plug. However, my engine is a twin cylinder so I would need 2 plugs. It took me about 10 minutes to swap the carbs and after installation the engine started right up. Something else I found helpful was the additional cleaning brushes in the kit. Great value for what it cost me. Shipping was quick and this worked great for my mower. After I get a couple hours on it I will update this review for quality over time. Snagged a free mower for my neighbor, needs some work, owner ran it with no air filter till it stopped. Yeap, bought this kit for $23. Didnt even mess with old carb and band for the buck this was the best kit. That being said. I matched my engine numbers to the compat listing and this carb was not the same, missing 1 adjustment screw and also the engine indle speed control can only go choke and full throttl because the way the butter fly valve is set up. I also had to add a throttle return spring so it would always go into full choke then you pull throttle back to get it out. Other wise no choke and butter fly valve would not move when throttles adjusted. Once the spring was added and it was a 2 second fix once I figured it out, it ran like a little beast. 2. Wrong spark plug. Luckily I was able to salvage the old one and clean it. I dont even have a spark plug socket for this, it 18mm and the threaded neck was not the same diameter either. Total but on the plug. Other than those 2 this the kits worth every penny and sofar we are into this for $23! We are happy a pigs in poo. Thank you! ... show more

This carb didnt need any adjustment. Has a ton of extra pieces that come with it that are handy to have. Its compatible with my poulon pro riding mower with no issue. The air filter wasn't right for my mower but good to hang on to I needed the carb more than anything. Its held up a few weeks now with no issues and was worth every dollar to get my mower running right. ... show more

    • BAD fuel line, it will harden and leak - do NOT use it
I am always careful about noname knockoffs, but this was a pleasant surprise. The carb was the perfect fit requiring no adjustments, and the tractor fired right up. As with all similar noname products, you will not receive any instructions - Youtube is your friend if you are not mechanically inclined. Included air filter was not right fit, the gas filter is rather underwhelming, otherwise very happy. Solenoid itself is worth the price. We'll see if internal component can survive few seasons. Update July 2026 - terrible fuel line! The hose became hard (gasoline interaction?) and almost impossible to flex, this had led to continuous fuel leak. Get a proper fuel line, forget the one that is included with the kit. ... show more

removed old Carburetor went to install new one on 19.5hp engine i noticed new carburetor has a smaller i.d. than old carburetor i was worried that i might not run right or be underpowered but i was wrong so far it runs great nice a smooth at idle, full throttle or any where in between, so i would really recommend this to anyone good carburetor with fast delivery. ... show more
