I bought this item for $51.99 in order to protect my artwork from being blown all over the place while at outdoor art and craft shows. The first time I used it, despite being properly assembled and secured, a light gust of wind caused the Velcro straps that hold it to the canopy frame to tear away from the fabric, thus resulting in one of the canopy sides flapping around all day and not providing the protection that it was designed for. I reported this defect to the manufacturer as per the warranty and they responded asking me to provide photos of the damage. I did that and then heard nothing back from them (This was September 2018) - I just now (January 3rd 2019) received a text from them stating that they were refunding me $1.30 - that's $50.69 shy of what I paid for it - NOT HAPPY... so I got on the phone to Amazon Customer Support and they took care of it - they shouldn't have had to because of a third party seller not honoring their warranty, but they did anyway - Yay! Amazon... Something else to note... when you purchase an extended warranty with this item, it DOES NOT come into effect until the end of the manufacturer's warranty so, unless the item became defective AFTER the initial one year period, you're pretty much screwed if needing the manufacturer to take care of the problem. I don't know what happened on their end or why they did not respond after I sent them the information they asked for, but I complied with their warranty process and that process failed me. So... this is not a "bad" item, but if you buy one, you may want to thoroughly inspect all tapes, zippers and seams before using and you may need to add some reinforcing stitching of your own to ensure it does what it is supposed to (yes, I know this would void the warranty but from all accounts, the warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on anyway) - you would also do well to be in the mindset of "this is a disposable item so don't expect too much from it". It's a $50 item... I'm aware of that... and it won't protect from gale force winds... but it should hold up under a light breeze - that is not an unreasonable expectation - but mine did not. ... show more

These walls worked perfect for a fall outdoor craft show. MN turned cold and snowy a few weeks early and these side walls kept us much more comfortable. They kept their t of the wind of nicely. It is a little tough to get it on at first with all 4 walls but once you get it it is awesome. I ended up using only 3 walls for the event and it was still great. ... show more

Used for a twice a year weekend event. This is the nicest canopy I've had and this is #4. I bought the 12x12 and the wall kit. The material thickness is on par with a nice tent. And they spare no velcro. Its everywhere. Even with doors open at our field event. Wind would puff it up. But it went nowhere. Friends were impressed. Being a 12x. You could almost park a car in it. Overall. I feel I got my money's worth and that's important..... ... show more

This was advertised as poly taffeta but what I received was simple white plastic. I am a seamstress so I know fabric types when I see them. It held up for our July Fourth vending booth, but then we had only a very mild wind and no rain with temps in the high 80's-low 90's. f there had been any wind like we usually have at this event, the walls would NOT have held up. Since it got us through the event this year I gave it 2 stars. I am very disappointed at the false description and now I have to pay to buy another side wall, an expense that our non-profit organization should not have to do. ... show more

Material is thin and did have to sew across the zipper at the top of the door to keep the zipper from going off track but does the job remarkably. Stood up against a very bad storm with no leaking. We bought this because we needed something for our canopy for privacy for my daughter and her wedding party to be able to dress in. It worked perfectly for that! Of course, it's thin so you don't want to get right up against the wall. I don't know for sure what it would have been like with lights inside at night but it might have been see through. But during the day, it worked great. We had a net that came with our canopy that we put over it also. ... show more
