I’m shocked at how nice this looks. I really wasn’t expecting much. I’ve been duped into purchasing Chinese made clothing that looks good in pictures but in reality it’s a joke. This isn’t one of those purchases. It’s not high dollar luxury and I didn’t expect that. It does look nice and it’s well worth the price. I bought this to wear as mother of the bride for an outdoor wedding in November. I bought the black and it’s very pretty but I think the white would look gorgeous. This is a special occasion item, so I think this will be something that I’ll use for years to come. The lining isn’t extremely soft (it would be over the top if it was satin). As soon as I received it, I tossed it in the dryer on no heat with a dryer sheet and it came out beautiful, soft and smells nice. ... show more

Do not waste your money! It looks NOTHING like the photo, it looks like a cheap plastic animal roadkill. Returning it immediately. Terrible quality, absolutely horrible.

This stole is definitely worth the purchase. When you receive it don’t be alarmed, it comes in a plastic bag and appears to be flat with no body. I took mine out, tried it in for fit and hung it over a door clothing holder to let it fluff back out naturally. But I suggest putting it in the dryer for a few minutes to fluff if you have an event you need it for ASAP. I haven’t worn mine out yet but can tell that it will be warm and comfortable. Turned out absolutely beautiful. I was shocked (and a little scared) by the vacuum packed brick that arrived. I followed directions and placed in my clothes dryer for 10 min on air fluff (no heat) and it looked better but not great. At the recommendation of another reviewer, I got out my hair blow dryer and fluffed the fur by hand until it was gorgeous. I steamed the satin lining by holding my steam iron up to the inside fabric. It transformed before my eyes! I’m 5’6”, 150 and this covered my shoulders & front to just below my waist. The front tails hung to just below my hips. In back, the wrap covered my back just past my waistline. The colar and trim are very fluffy. I did add another hook about 4” below the one already on the garment. It fit my height better and I used both hooks. This is a 5 min hand sewing job and hooks are available in fabric and craft stores for cheap. I wore this to a beautiful fall wedding on a chilly day and received many compliments. I was hesitant to buy based on some reviews but I am very pleased. I’m looking & hoping for another occasion to wear it. In the meantime, I have friends who’ve asked to borrow it. ... show more

I was nervous about getting this. The reviews are pretty mixed and seem to be either relentlessly positive or aggressively negative. I'm going to be one of the former, I think. The wrap came packaged in a plastic bag and so the fur was a bit smushed down in places. It didn't have any serious creases though. There was no weird smell with mine. I feed it through the center of a plastic hanger and let it drape like that whenever it isn't in use. This has helped fluff it back up. The lining is a slick, somewhat cheap satin, but it does its job and it doesn't stand out. The luxe fake fur on the outside is what draws the eye. It feels so indulgent to wear and is fun to play with. I get all kinds of compliments on it and have had several people ask me where they can get one and if they come in other colors. I can't speak to the other available hues, but the black version is quite lovely. If you're looking for a quality fake fur wrap at a reasonable price, this is an excellent pick! ... show more

The coat is nice for the price. It arrived super wrinkled because it’s vacuumed sealed and placed in a small box. I had to use a steamer to iron out the wrinkles on the inside and also put in dryer on very low heat and delicate cycle to fluff it up and try to get wrinkles softened on the outside fur area. The hook is hard to find and won’t stay closed. I had to buy some hooks and will sew them in. There was a small part on one of the edges that was not sewn so will have to fix that too. I decided to keep because it’s still decent looking and also don’t have time to look for a better alternative. If you want a nice looking fur cape and willing to go through the extra steps of steam ironing and putting in dryer and maybe having to sew in a few hooks then I do recommend for the price. If you want something that's beautiful and ready to wear out of the box then don’t even try to order it or you’ll be disappointed. ... show more

Bought in December, and I did not open till New Year’s Eve. When I saw it, at first opening, it looked rough, and I was going to return, but hooked on phonics worked for me, so I read the instructions and followed directions given. Voila! It was purrrrfffect. I put it in dryer on low for 10 mins. The negative reviews are mostly individuals who do not realize that reading is fundamental. This is not a mink, chinchilla, or fox ok people. It is 40 bucks and does the job. Period. Also, this is Not a coat. It does not zip. It is a faux fur wrap/shawl like item that is worn over the shoulder.
