They might work better in fully leather seats. But I have leather trimmed seats with a cloth portion down the center (2015 Ford Escape SE). Despite the silicone lined back that is supposed to grip your seat, they easily slip back and forth. It was extremely difficult to get the car seat secure enough to where it cannot be pulled more than 1” in either direction at the belt path. I was using the weathertech car seat seat protector before, but that only goes on the bottom of the seat so there was no protection for the backrest of the seat where my kids feet go when she’s in the car seat. I tried using this underneath the weathertech one first, because that one is wider and will catch things my kid drops off the side of her seat, but that made it impossible to get tight enough. So then I removed the weathertech mat and just used this because I need protection for the whole seat. It was easier then to get it secure, and I eventually did, but it required me completely kneeling in the car seat and rocking back and forth while pulling on the LATCH belt with all my strength, and that took like ten minutes still. I usually do that to secure seat anyways, but normally it takes maybe a minute tops and far less exertion. As for the quality of the seat protector, it is thick and seems to be pretty durable. The pockets that hang over the front of the seat are helpful for storing wipes and smaller items. I have not had to really clean them yet so I can’t say how easy that will be. It seems like it might be difficult depending on the substance you’re trying to clean from them just due to the fact that it’s a woven material opposed to just straight rubber or TPE material like the weathertech mat is where you can just hose it down. On appearance, they look good. I was very picky when choosing these because I didn’t want them to look wrinkled or that shiny plastic looking material. These blend in nicely with my black interior and do not look cheap. All in all, I will be keeping them since the quality is good and they work for their intended purpose. I just bought a new car seat so that I could give a family member my old one, so now that everyone who ever would drive my kid has a car seat of their own, I will not have to remove it often. If I were going to be switching the car seat between vehicles often, I probably would return them due to the extreme effort and time it took to get the carseat secure because of the slipperiness.

Covers the whole chair and car seats sit well on top of them. Doesn't shift around and the car seat anchor point are easily accessible.

Item is well built and easy to install. It has saved the back of my seat from the toddler rubbing their feet against it. It’s also easy to remove to clean. A bonus are two storage pockets located on the bottom and the red stitching is a close match to the stitching of the vehicle (CR-V).
