So I have a 2019 ram 1500 classic tradesman with the small 4 inch uconnect screen. I’ve gotten tired of the over the dash external CarPlay monitor I had (pictured) which worked fine, but wasn’t aesthetically pleasing to me in this truck. I searched and searched for a replacement head unit with CarPlay that wouldn’t break the bank. I found this one from J Junsun. I won’t lie, I was skeptical at first, but with a 40$ Amazon gift card and 15$ coupon I decided to try it. Installation: Installation was extremely simple. I reached out to customer service (Junsun-US@outlook.com) prior to install regarding the back up camera. I was sent numerous photos and diagrams and step by step instructions from them. The harnesses only install one way and only one specific harness will fit each slot. All in all it took me maybe 1.5 hours, and the worst part was the screws on the dash piece you have to remove to install this unit. Everything outside of the back up camera (stock one) was very self explanatory and super easy. I also installed the units navigation antenna in the off chance I’m not using CarPlay and need it. I just stuck it to the underside of the top of the dash and haven’t had any issues. I’ve played with the units navigation and have had zero issues with locating satellites. The stock back up camera is a very easy install. There’s already plugs for it on the truck harness, just plug the separate harness for the camera into the head unit then into the main vehicle harness. I also kept all my USB ports in the truck with no issues using the supplied harness. Headunit: The radio itself looks amazing once installed. The screen is huge compared to my 4 inch den unit that came stock on the truck. I love the customization you can do with the themes, colors, and wallpapers. Once you get the EQ set up, this little radio unit actually sounds good. The key is ONCE THE EQ IS SET UP PROPERLY. I had no noticeable loss in audio quality. Wireless CarPlay. AGAIN WIRELESS CARPLAY! I love this feature and even my wife’s 2020 Pacifica with CarPlay doesn’t offer wireless. The screen is crisp compared to my small 4 inch unit, it’s very easy to use and I retained the function of my steering wheel buttons. I don’t have the steering volume or skip track so I’m still using the head unit for that. Also, my climate settings now show on the head unit when adjusting the knobs. Only Cons I have are follows: 1. Not having the steering wheel volume buttons I wish this had a volume knob instead of the small touch volume buttons. 2. The radio / music will stop playing when I go into reverse. I’m assuming this is some type of safety feature or a toggle I haven’t found yet in the settings. 3. The camera quality did drop some, but I’m taking a 4inch screen and blowing it up to an almost 10 inch screen. It doesn’t look bad, but think of it as going from 1080p to 720p because you’re blowing up the image for the back up camera. The biggest pro for me was customer service on this one. I VERY quickly received a response from them, here’s the email so you don’t have to hunt for it like I did. They will quickly send you photos, videos, walk you through it, as well as sending more diagrams than what’s in the box. Junsun-US@outlook.com If you’re debating this, buy it. You won’t regret it. The media could not be loaded. I have seen some post the people can't find the ac controls on this radio and I just found them they are hidden but this video shows how to get to them, gave 4 stars because the future for car play sometimes don't want to work

I am giving 4 stars because I haven't had it installed long so still testing everything out. So far it works great! After my stock radio failed I could not control the vents as the control is built into the radio. (poor design RAM, fire that engineer) RAM wants 1500-1600 for a replacement radio; I got this one on sale for $167.00 The radio works as advertised and that's a great price. The fit was really good, easy to install, good instructions too. I recommend this radio. The only issue so far is the WLAN will not stay on unless the phone is plugged in via cable; could be my error but seems strange. As I said its newly installed so still testing all the features. Update: I have upgraded my review to 5 Stars. I just love this radio, I contacted the seller because I was having issues with wireless android connection. They responded quickly and helped me resolve the problem. I wear a blutooth medical device which was interfering with my connection. A different phone not connected to my medical device works flawlessly using wireless android. I just can't believe this radio works so well and the fit in my 2013 RAM 1500 Big Horn is great. My stereo went out on my truck so I bought this one. Looks cool when it works. It worked fine for about a month then started to just not turn on. Sometimes when it does turn on it acts like the first time. Other times it just turns on. When it doesn't turn on I have to hit the reset button to get it to turn on. When I save up money for a different on I will be buying a different brand. ... show more

I love it it was an easy install I also installed tailgate handle camera it was all plug & play but in sunlight it washes out the display. I need some type of visor or screen protect in navigation mode

Fit and finish are great. Bought the 2gb system. When it powered up it worked really well, for all of 20 minutes. Turned the ruck off, got in later to drive to the store and it’s bricked…no lights, sound, nothing. Pushed the reset button multiple times and combos, nothing, checked fuses and power, all good. Having a replacement sent. Will update if all good ... show more
