This radio works really well to let you listen to your phone/bluetooth device through your vehicles care speakers. Put in my Classic truck and works and sounds great. The app is easy to use and once set up the radio automaticly syncs up with your device and starts playing the last thing it were listening to. If you disconnect the vehicle battery you will need to o back into the app to select Bluetooth or FM radio option. Hope this helps ... show more

This is a much better unit than a similarly priced unit I had installed previously. When that unit died, I picked this replacement recommended by Amazon. The sound quality and loudness is fine. The Bluetooth is very stable and connects right away. The app works seamlessly to turn the unit on and off, select radio or Bluetooth, and operate the built in equalizer. It even lets you pick an accent color for the lighted front from the app. It rotates through the available colors out of the box which is distracting. With a simple exterior antenna connected, the FM tuner is sensitive and picks up tons of stations. The volume is louder when playing the radio versus Bluetooth. You have to connect both the red and yellow wires to 12 volts and the black to ground for the unit to work. We’ll see how long it lasts. But for the price it’s an amazing package. ... show more

Military time, ( I can read, but prefer standard !) Set it to standard several times, reverts an constantly scrolls through EVERYTHING !! Thought I canceled the demo mode, BUT EVIDENTLY NOT !! Stereo sounds nice, BUT WAY TO MUCH CRAP !!........oh an lest I forget...?! Came with remote------ cool----- BATTERY NOT INCLUDED...... REALLY ??!! And the back lighting on this is NON-EXISTANT, EVEN ON HIGH !! I have an older transition year suburban,so some things are hard to find, wanted to update the dash, bought a dash kit so it would look nice,took me long enough to find that, then FINALLY decided on this radio. LOOKS NICE, JUST ##!$#!!!! ES ME OFF EVERY TIME I TURN IT ON !! NOW I HAVE TO FIND ANOTHER ONE.....permanent disability does not pay, people !! Separate order of batteries for remote finally came. It rocks even without an amplifier. I am using it as a jam box and powering it with a solar generator. I don't know how it would work as a car stereo system, but for what I am using it this thing is fantastic. I have it hooked up to a Becker speaker box that hasn't been used in about 25 years and if you get any where near it when it's cranked up your ears start ringing. I will update this review once it's completed, but I can't imagine I will be disappointed. The flashing colors may be a distraction for a car stereo, but for what I am using it for the more lights the better. I have another speaker box that has a boat load of lights and an amplifier for even more power that I will hook up on the front speaker wires so this should be amazing. The USB connection is what I wanted the most and it works great. I haven't tried out much else, however I do know that the radio part works well. I may order a second one for a second system or a backup. ... show more

It's okay as a budget stereo option. Easy enough to install if you're handy with that sort of thing. The controls are fairly easy to operate, push-button tuning and auto seek, also can store favorite stations. The display is nice if you're into visuals, I like the fact that it displays the song and track info if you're using the USB option. I mostly use it to play songs from my curated playlists that I save on a USB drive. You can skip tracks, replay tracks, and loop tracks. The included remote is very tiny and has limited practicality in my opinion. You can connect to other devices via Bluetooth, and connect to Android or iPhone, though I don't use that function. My main complaint is that it doesn't push a lot of power. You will definitely want an amplifier with this unit unless you drive the quietest car ever created. ... show more
