Was skeptical on acquiring, I remember old Hot Wheels tracks, the rubber would distort and trying to put pieces together after sitting in a box so long, cars would jump off the tracks. But, this was worth a try. Building the track was easy, but building it a certain way takes a bit of time, understanding the track pieces, and having any leftovers, since you won't be building "loops" as intended. We tried a few different designs, the pieces fit. Just not a full set to create a race circle, but no issues. My youngest and I played for a while, the cars were fun, pull back to create energy needed to loop. However, creating a "ramp" caused the cars to fly through the house, making my wife unhappy. Where fun is designed. Neat set, worked well, build as intended or create your own. Be gentle putting pieces together, over time these look to fall apart, at least from the track pieces I remember from Hot Wheels sets. Fun for a couple hours before its time to clean up.

Ordered this for a 3.5 year old and while he hasn't quite grasped how to wind the cars on the track to use the set as it was intended, he is still having a lot of fun with the cars and placing them around the track or racing them across the floor. I had to remove the long segment of blue track because it was bent out of shape coming out of the box, making the loop an imperfect circle and causing every car to fly off the track. Removing that piece and rearranging the tracks slightly had us back in business and I'm sure I can add it back once it straightens out. The cars are very fast and it's fun when they do make it all the way through the course but that is not an every time event. It would have been nice if some additional parts were included to add some variation to the course but as is, you're limited in how else you can configure it. Overall, it's a fun little set and the cars themselves can be used without the track to simply race across the floor if the kids get bored with the loops.

I have to say, I was a bit skeptical about how well this track would work. I've only had experience with battery powered launcher style loop tracks previously, but was wanting something that didn't rely on batteries. The cars included are obviously a necessity for this track to operate properly as they are extremely light, but hold a fair amount of stored energy, more than most pull back cars I've used. It isn't even needed to fully wind up the cars to get them through the loops, but it does make them go through faster. You need to make sure the loops are nice and round when assembling the track as any out-of-roundness will likely cause the cars to launch off the track. I'm kind of surprised at how well the cars fly through and my kids are having fun with it, so no complaints here.

Pretty neat racetrack that my gson and I enjoyed putting together. Assembly was pretty straightforward; everything just snaps into place. It's no bells or whistles, reminds me of the old school racetrack from the 80s'90s. I like the bright colors, my gson is 5 and he is obsessed with this track. Nothing requires batteries just straight forward playtime. He stayed overnight and played with it quite a bit whereas usually he's on the Ipad. Of course, it's smaller than what's projected in the product photos, but still a good size.

For what it is, it's not too shabby! I was pleasantly surprised. I got this for my 8 year old grandson to play with while here and he enjoyed it. Comes with 4 pull back cars that are quite light and can zip around very quickly. They don't need a full blast off to make it around the track but it definitely makes it go faster. The track is also very light and can come out kind of wonky so be sure to make the loops as circular as possible. We figured that out after cars just kept flying off the track. lol I do think it's a bit better for younger kids as my grandson was only enthused for so long. Overall, I think it's a pretty cool toy!
