This is a hot wheel track for younger children and it is age appropriate. A four or five year old might even be able to put it together on their own; and my one year old loves it. He likes the little gate lever that holds the car in until you open the gate. I found it difficult to put together but that’s only because I’m deficient in putting things together and I never practice doing so because I hate it so much. I’m great at math and love math tests but putting stuff like this together helps me have empathy for people who hate math. As someone who is so stunted in this area I appreciate the very clear instructions that are provided with this toy. So many competitors provide horrible instructions but that is not the case with this toy. There are four different tracks which are all pretty cool. The green track at the bottom that seems to go no where didn’t make much sense to me at first but my son likes just pushing the car repetitively on that track and it is near the floor for him to be able to do that. While I do feel bad consuming this much plastic, at least this toy is shockingly durable. Which is good for this age group. My son has been trying to use the twist track as a ladder and when he climbs on it, the plastic does not snap and the connections don’t fall apart. I would feel bad giving this as a gift because it is so bulky and it is so much plastic that will undoubtedly be discarded by your child within a few years. It is durable enough that another child will probably be able to use it when you want to get rid of it though. I think this is a great toy for a parent to purchase for their own child, if the parent is Ok with the downside of the bulkiness and the plastic.

I'm super impressed with this Little People hot wheels collab car track set. Its really fantastic and I think it shows a lot of impressive synergy between the Fisher Price Little People toy line and the Hot Wheels toy lines. Its a perfect set for my 2 year old toddler and my 4 year old loves it too. We love all the different track courses. There are 4 different tracks, and the kids enjoyed finding all the different ways to play this. It works well with the included Little People cars and you can put plenty of other cars trucks on it and it works just as well. The product clearly benefits from Hot Wheels integration. Its just a really seamless assembly process - everything clicks into place just right and I had no issues whatsoever assembling this. In a day and age where it seems like everything is getting lower quality and I'm always having assembly problems, I've had the exact opposite experience with Hot Wheels toys lately. They snap together just right without issues. Also the loop de loops work flawlessly. The little people theme works great and it is definitely a product aimed at a younger kid set and this works as well. Another thing I love about it is it uses vertical space so well as opposed to taking up your entire floor. 5 stars. Like I said, I love this product and think it is just really well thought out and executed superbly.

Grandkids love this, only gave 4 stars due to being difficult to put together. 1 of the pieces broke but a little super glue is holding it together well

This arrived in a beat up, plain cardboard box with predominantly French writing. It is made in China and Mexico for distribution in Canada. I was initially concerned that it did not meet U.S. safety standards, but the identical set is sold in stores here. Instructions are in the IKEA style and are easy to follow. Assembly took about 20 minutes. No tools required. At first I was a little disappointed by the limited functionality of this thing, but my grandkids love it. Mostly the 2-4 year olds. It is definitely Fisher Price and Little Tykes quality

My 2 year old loves this ramp. Each of the tracks are exciting in a different way, which keeps his attention. He also enjoys using the fueling station to "fill up" the cars. I haven't had this long, but so far things are sturdy. My toddler has dropped the cars in the driveway and around the house with no harm done, and the ramp itself doesn't wobble. Setup was faster than the 30 minutes suggested in the instructions. I didn't need any extra tools, which was nice, and I could pop the pieces together without much difficulty. It's definitely a big ramp, so it takes up a lot of floor space, but it's light weight and easy to move out of the way. My only complaint is the short green ramp at the base of the track. It's sloped, but it doesn't connect to the tracks that start at the top. It's basically just decoration, but it would have been nicer if it was flat and could be used as a storage area for the cars. There's a place in the green piece to store the trash can obstacles, which is nice, but it would have been better with a way to store the cars. Overall, this is a great, well-built toy for toddlers.
