My lock button stopped working so I purchased this to replace it. I was able to take it apart and replace the blank key with my current cut key and program the fob to my car. The only issue is I don’t know how to program the trunk open and will have to take it into the dealership to do so. It’s noticeably heavier than the original but I don’t mind, the internal mechanism seems higher quality in this one over the original. I’d buy again ... show more

The locksmith was able to use both keys to program and make them fit my ignition, as well as unlock the doors. Don't waste your money on the more expensive dealership. Worked for my 2007 Acura RDX. Great value!

Decent remote, was able to cut key and program with my Autel IM608 however the hatch release button didn't work on 2011 MDX. Maybe the button works on Acura sedans for trunks?

I bought this car key thinking it would be a simple replacement, but it turned out to be a complete waste of money. First, the key didn’t work at all when I tried to use it. Then, when I took it to a professional to have it programmed, they couldn’t get it to work either. After multiple attempts and wasted hours, it was clear that this key was just a dud. both keys programmed both ways (to unlock the car, and to start it) required bi-directional scan tool for starting, but internet instructions worked to program them for the locks

The media could not be loaded. The key works but the remote range is poor. I have to stand right next to the car for the unlock, lock, and power tailgate to work. It feels like its gonna break every time I manually lock/unlock at the driver's door key hole. I was able to swap out the original acura chip key to this one and use my driver 2 settings and for the improved remote range. It does fit a 2007 acura mdx with power tailgate. I had to take it to a professional to program it, so it would start the vehicle. The buttons feel okay. The original battery it comes with is dead or low. ... show more

Lost both my keys so I bought these two hoping for the best. Had a locksmith come to my house, unlock my car, get the key codes, cut both keys and program them for $200. Not a bad freaking deal. Dealer wanted $400
