Who doesn't love POV driving footage? This mount is a very well made and easy to use tool to attach to your car headrest to do just that. I'm sure you can think of plenty of other uses as well but I'll be keeping it in my car for driving shots. It's simple to use--you put the appropriate clamp on your headrest and tighten it with the included Allen wrench and mount the camera on the other end. The mount comes with a 1/4" screw so you can use it with DSLR cameras. There's also an action cam attachment which lets you use it with GoPro, Insta360, DJI, etc. I tried it with my Nikon Z-30, GoPro Hero 12 and Insta360 X3 and it worked great with all of 'em. I haven't tried this yet but I'm thinking you could also use it for a boom mic to get clear audio while you shoot video from a dashcam or other source. My only minor gripe: I wish the Allen wrench was integrated into the unit like you see in many tripods. I usually have one in my car but I'd hate to want to attach/remove the clamp and *not* have one. Otherwise a great product--highly recommended!

I ended up using this to hold a viewing monitor on my rig 9without the provided clamp). But if you do want to use this in your car, and use the clamp that holds it in place to a pole (like on your headrest) it is a little bit of a pain. Minus one star because I wish the clamp was faster to use and/or assemble. You have to use an Allen wrench to screw on 4 screws on each corner of the clamp to put it onto a pole of some sort. It also only accepts thin poles, bc of the length of the screws. This is a hassle if you're wanted to quickly just clamp it to something. I added a close up of the clamp in question. It is made of metal, and sturdy feeling, so not very lightweight, but not flimsy

When I initially saw this item online I was a bit hesitant because I thought this would be a flimsy plastic mount for the GoPro. It is not. This mount is almost entirely metal with the exception of the plastic GoPro mounting interface. The mount features a 1/4 x 20 which mounts on both ends and allows you to mount not just GoPros but other light weight action cameras as well. This might even be able to support a small mirrorless camera as well. The arm is flexible and tightens all linkages with the simple turn of a single knob. This makes it really easy to reposition the mount or the camera without having to worry about accidentally dropping the mount because something wasn't tightened down since there is only one thing to ensure is tightened! This is definitely worth the $30 that it's currently going for!

This works great. Fully adjustable for many angles. Stays in place nicely. I mounted this to to backrest on my motorcycle, works great.
