Description

Every day thousands of new and used car salespeople go to work and are trained on how to take your money. They are trained by the best trainers car dealers can buy. They will reach into your hearts and have you fall in love with the vehicle that you or they want you to buy. They want you to make an emotional decision and once they do that, “they have you”.This workbook will allow you to make a logical decision on the car you buy. It is a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the buying process before you even walk through their front door. It shows you how to find the selling price, how to know what your trade-in is worth, and what your payments will be. All of this before you even walk into the dealer or the finance office to finance your payment. When you buy this workbook you will unlock the power that only knowledge can give you! You will not fall victim to the creative math your salesperson uses to confuse you with. Not now, or ever again. The best part about the workbook is that it can be used over and over again. For $20.00 you can save thousands over your car-buying life. This handbook has both a goal and a purpose:• The goal of this handbook is to save you as much money as possible when you decide it’s time to buy a new or used vehicle.• The purpose of this handbook is to provide a bonafide tool, derived from decades of car sales experience, that will absolutely educate car buyers in the ways car dealerships unnecessarily build up the cost of your vehicle. It will show you exactly how to navigate the process of buying a car. It will teach you how to ask the right questions, and challenge charges and fees that don’t belong on your bill of sale. It contains actual automobile documents with notes on what is what. There are informational charts, customized worksheets for doing calculations, and manufacturer resources. Read more

  • Don’t buy a car without reading this first
Format: Kindle
This book was very helpful in my preparation to buy a vehicle . I considered both new and used cars because I wasn’t sure if it made sense to trade my vehicle in or just keep it . The worksheets were especially helpful so that I could prepare ahead of time and make the right decision and get the most for my trade . Even tho this was an ebook I just grabbed a sheet of paper and worked through everything . The car buying process was definitely better having read this book and I saved thousands of dollars, not to mention I didn’t have to deal with annoying sales tactics . I definitely recommend this book to anyone buying new or used and especially with a trade. ... show more

  • Lots of great info
Format: Paperback
I bought this to see what it entailed and this book is loaded with good info for anyone who is unfamiliar with the auto sales industry. Having sold cars for ten years in the past I was curious to see the methods the author used to help people. He actually uses a technique that we were taught when selling. The use of offers, trade value, down payment, and payments are the same way salesman are trained by corporate head hunters. It's a good way to make an offer and get the price, trade-in value, and payments you want. Having the info on the Finance office, Gap insurance, and extended warranties is great information for first-time and experienced buyers alike. This guy did a very good job in an inexpensive format to help anyone who wants to buy a new or used car. Especially New vehicles as comparing the exact same vehicle, and equipment is the easiest way to get your best deal. Comparing apples to apples instead of apples to oranges. If you are in the market buy this book, read it twice, and thank the author for the money he saves you. It's well worth the price. ... show more

  • Great info if you are looking to buy or trade a car
Format: Paperback
I read this book in one day . It was short enough for a quick read but enough information that I definitely feel I got my money’s worth . I am dealing with multiple car dealers trying to get the deal that I want and I am definitely going to use some of the advice this book gave me . The four square negotiations section is great and worth the book price alone . I’m never overpaying for a car again and I’m making sure my wife reads it too! ... show more

  • Mostly worthless
Format: Paperback
The author is a highly experienced salesman, and used his sales tactics to convince me to buy this book. While it contains a few useful tidbits, it is mostly worthless. Although this lightweight book contains only 70 pages, half of those are simply worksheets for you to track vehicles, dealers, loans, etc. Not worth the price. ... show more

  • great info!
Format: Paperback
This is a good read for anyone looking to buy a car. I don’t have a trade, but I’ve been saving some time and was looking for some guidance purchasing my first car. I definitely felt the part on how to negotiate pricing was helpful and the worksheets help visualize everything.

  • COMPLETE & STEP-BY-STEP CONSUMER RESOURCE ++
Format: Paperback
WHAT'S TO LIKE? EASY TO READ; COMPLETE FROM DEFINING YOUR NEEDS/WANTS TO GOING-OUT-THE-DOOR WITH THE CAR. USE OF CHECKLISTS AND WORK SHEETS VERY HELPFUL. SUGGESTED WORDING FOR BUYERS AT IMPORTANT JUNCTURES OF THE PROCESS . KNOWING AND SAYING IT CAN BE QUITE DIFFERENT. SPECIFICS ON WARRANTIES AND AUTHORIZED REPAIRS HELPFUL. BUYER'S POWERS-- RESEARCH INTO TRADE-IN AND PRICE; USE MULTIPLE DEALESHIPS AND MULTIPLE CAR OPTIONS; REMEMBER "WALKING AWAY" IS THE GREATEST POWER (MOST DON'T COME BACK AGAIN); WATCH FOR ALL THE "UP-SALES" OF EXTRAS ALONG THE PROCESS. CAUTION RE: EXTENDED WARRANTIES AND THE NECESSITY OF "CERTIFIED" SERVICE. NEGATIVE- NO MENTION OF CONSUMER REPORTS FREQUENCY OF REPAIR RECORDS PER YEAR AND MODEL AS AN INVALUABLE RESOURCE. OTHERWISE--GREAT READ. KFC ... show more

  • The most impressive self-help car buying book available.
Format: Kindle
The author presents concepts and stories about how car dealers squeeze every penny out of customers were almost unbelievable. Until I started researching the techniques he covers, which included reading a dozen other car buying books, what Mr. Cannon says is amazing but true. And, if you use this book the way it's intended you will absolutely, save thousands of dollars on the next vehicle you buy. My family did! And best of all, this is the ONLY car buying guide that includes workbook pages that you can fill in with your own information/research, and ultimately be more prepared when you get to the dealership than 95% of all the other people who buy a new or used vehicle. ... show more
