  • Good Value
Its good for its price. But I don't feel I'm getting 60fps, or if I am it seems not as smooth. I'm not sure how to explain it. If you're going to be gaming with it directly rather than just streaming/recording - you might wanna invest in more specific higher end devices. But if you're playing on TV/separate monitor and just using this to broadcast/record that signal, this works perfectly. ... show more

  • Hard to use
It’s a little confusing and refuses to work with one of my monitors but when it gets working it’s fine

  • Great for small streamers!!
If your a small or medium streamer this is perfect. it gets great quality for my Xbox series X. I stream on twitch and get 1080p and no lag. Easy setup and works with OBS and stream labs also TikTok streaming.

  • It could be better.
I’ve been using this for about a year now. I stream on Twitch using the switch, Xbox, PlayStation, etc. This card does NOT do 1080p 60fps. In my use of it, I’m only able to get 720p 60fps but not for a while. It will only display 60fps in 720 for about 20 minutes and then the card gets hot and stops being in 60. The capture card has a bit of saturation so what you record will need color correction. If you’re okay with 30fps, 1080p 30fps works great. It actually looks pretty good. This capture card in either resolution has a bit of a blur in some places but for me it’s hit or miss what days it works for me. It could be user error or because I’m using a Mac but this is my experience. I still use it to this day, so it’s definitely reliable. ... show more

  • Served Well for Streaming During COVID
When our church was halfway there when it came to technology going into 2020, this little device helped me convert a high quality (but non-streaming) camera into something that would work for our system. And it worked great! (Continues to work great, years later.)

  • A simple solution that can assist you with some video related problems
I wanted to watch my Roku channels and services in a small adjustable, movable window on my Q4OS Linux desktop as I worked. I could not get that to work with the purchase of the latest highly touted - by gamers- "Elgato "HD60 X" device because all other such devices allow HDCP 2.2 pass through, but no not El Gato. Isn't that kind of silly. I used the simple "TVtime TV viewer" offered under many Linux distributions and - presto. The video is clear and fluid without any major hiccups. At the price I paid for such a solution, I could not be more satisfied. ... show more

  • Works For Only Modern Consoles
So I thought the capture card couldn't capture on my Wii cause article after article everything and everyone telling me I needed something more, something more expensive etc for the best quality etc. And sadly for a time i believed them. Only for one person on reddit to tell me "no you don't use Game Capture, you use Video Capture Device because it counts as a device being plugged in" ..now don't be an idiot like me, if you're using OBS use that....cause I tried everything. And funny enough I did go to video capture device twice, but all I saw was my webcam I didn't even take notice of the one that says "USB device" cause I was strictly looking for like "Wii" for some reason lol. So good news, it can work on older game consoles and newer ones. You don't have to spend penny out of pocket like these idiots did to record and do more cause these guys, the ones I saw hooking it up. bought 2 types of different Wii hook ups, a big arse hub and a thumbdrive to put it on. and that was just a year ago. apparently they didn't even bother doing what I was doing I knew it had to work in a way since it worked fine on my Switch and I was wondering what the real problem was. so good news to those who buy it, it is compatible with most older consoles. Like the Wii. Just uh if you go to record it on OBS don't be an idiot box and do what I did lol Unless you already knew that then congratz you're smarter than me lol but great product though, it really lives up to the 4k since the quality is great! And easy to hook up the audio as well. ... show more

  • Works Just How I Expected To!
The media could not be loaded. I was a little iffy since some reviews with video gave it one star, but I was on a budget and I just had to buy this capture card. Honestly I’m not disappointed, I’m actually glad I bought this item for streaming. The capture card works great, it’s OBS setup that you need to work on and depending on how your computer/laptop runs as well. A simple YouTube video helped me out! Capture Card is outstanding!!! And works like how it’s supposed to. Did it’s job and worth the price! ... show more
