I bought this for a specific project replacing the seat covers on my Expedition. They torx bolts and hold the seat to the chassis are "star plus" style that I didn't own. In the past, I've purchased torx bits as I've needed and honestly bought duplicates when I couldn't find the first one in my toolbox. This kit comes complete with almost any bit I should need in the next 30 years (or until I'm dead). They are well organized, appear to be well made, are easy to read the size on, and work very well. The TP55 I needed for the seat bolts worked great. It didn't round over at all and appears new after that use. I've used a couple of others for other projects and it's nice to know that whatever size I need will be quick to find and perform well. The blue case is nice too. The sockets snap in and don't rattle. I've heard good things about Capri tools in the past and I have a couple of their tools. I've been impressed. I live on a small ranch and I'm a home garage mechanic/tinkerer/etc so these will get used off and on for a long time with the equipment on the ranch and for home auto/etc projects. I needed a good quality torx plus bit set and didn't want just two or three sizes. In particular, I needed a TP40 bit, but new I'd want the other sizes as well. Ended up buying this and couldn't be more pleased. Case is a nice perk, the bits are very tough and durable, and has any potential size that I may need.     • Great, inexpensive set covers a wide range of Torx sizes.
This is an excellent, low-cost set of Torx sockets for the DIY mechanic. I bought it specifically for the 1/4" drive T30 socket, as my Craftsman general socket set only included that size in 3/8" drive, and I needed to use it for a tight valve cover job with a 1/4" bit driver and compact 1/4" torque wrench. However, I have subsequently used numerous other sockets from this set because of the convenience. I haven't had any trouble with broken bits or stripped bolts thus far. My one complaint is that the blow molded case, while convenient to store the sockets, does not hold them very securely, and if you aren't very gentle, the sockets will often fall out when handling or closing up the case.
