I haven’t got a clue how anyone makes a cent of profit when they manufacture these weights in China, transport them to the US where I get free delivery and the whole thing cost me less than 15 bucks. They are made very well and are exactly what I needed.

I bought the 2.5lb 4-pack to use as a door weight for a patio door. As such they're outside 24 hours a day, in all-year weather. To my memory, there was already some clear finish applied by the manufacturer, but I layered them with a number of clear coats myself to prevent any rusting. Still holding up nicely after 1 year. Let’s start with the packaging; each weight was individually bagged and wrapped in shipping foam. The four weights were in a very solid shipping carton which in turn was inside another very solid shipping container . . . Results were perfect, no shipping issues. I read a myriad of other reviews that listed various issues with the weights. I had no such experience. These weights have a granularity that allows the weight lifter to very gradually add to their workout routine. Weight plates with bigger poundage increments can make it difficult to progress in your overall plan/goals. The weights look good as well. Cast iron plates tend to have a rusty look. Weights are great! Not as wide as olympic bumper-plates, which is okay. Really smooth so they roll easily, so keep that in mind. Also, the hole seems a little bit bigger than my other plates that I have, so I have to make sure i tighten them on well. Other than that, 5 stars, great value!
