I purchased four sets (twelve 10-pound weights and four 2.5-pound weights). The 10-pound weights were excellent. The 2.5-pound weights had minor dings in a few spots, but that doesn’t matter to me. FYI just in case that might bother you. The weights are beautiful. I have an upstairs set and a downstairs set on 48-inch Super Curl Olympic Barbells. They are so enticing that I sometimes punch out a few reps when I walk past them because they look good. Excellent price. Excellent packaging. I will buy more.

Bought four of the 45 pound grip plates when they were on sale. ~1.18 pounds/dollar, practically a steal with free shipping. I was very surprised by how accurate these plates were, at least according to my scale. Two of them came in at 45.4 pounds (within 1%), one at 45.1, and the last at 45.0. The biggest problem is the finish. It is slippery, but more importantly, there are some sharp edges inside the grips, especially in the very corners. For loading these plates onto a bar almost daily, I haven't had any problems. But if you might use the plates themselves for different exercises, you may want to file these edges down. The 35lb grip plates were pretty similar, though not as accurate. Both came in at 35.9 pounds (~2.6% off), which is not terrible considering what I paid. The same complaints about the finish apply here, too. The 25lb classic grey plates were less accurate yet, both coming in at 26.1 pounds. That's 4.4%. Not great, but for what I paid - ~1.12$/lb shipped - I'll take it. The finish on the classic plates were also slippery, but I haven't had any issues with sharp edges or anything like that. The classic 10s, 5s, and 2.5s I haven't been able to weigh for accuracy, but they all have the same problems with the finish.

Purchased the 2" Olympic 10lb ×4 set on the Prime Day Deal for$41.64 Current price at the time of this review is $48.99. First things first. CAP knows how to protect their items very well. This weight set arrived nested in not 1, not 2 but inside 3 boxes! Each plate protected inside plastic with a sheet of styrofoam material between each layer as well as styrofoam along the edges inside the final box. As for the weight plates themselves. They're similar to the ones found in your local Walmart store if you're familiar with those. The style is slightly different but appears to be made out of the same materials. Each weight weighed in approximately 10.2lbs - 10.4lbs on my scale at home. The only gripes I could come up with are miniscule to me personally. The silver paint quality on the letters & numbers is very poor. Like child labor meets school for the visually impaired poor. It pretty much flaked off to the touch which may be a good thing bc you could repaint it yourself at that point. The other negative is if you're a super serious lifter & super anal about the weight being EXACT. Other than those two tiny negatives, I'd gladly recommend these to you.
