There is everything to like about this set of 10 lb plates. The value is unmatched from what I’ve seen. The plates themselves are well made and the coating seems very durable and not that it matters as much but they’re aesthetically pleasing as well. They slide on and off smoothly and the little handle slits are a nice touch. I’ve ordered several sets so far and am using them primarily for loading up my adjustable Olympic dumbbell handles which they’re perfect for diameter wise while being able to pack decent poundages on efficiently. These are as shown and as described. Price is fair and perhaps even a bit lower than current market value for in-store weight purchases. We could not find the olympic size locally, anyway. The quality is as good as any we have ever purchased in a store but these came right to the front door so we didn't have to drive two hours to get a set from out of town store. We ordered the single weights separately as this seller is selling these because we had ordered a set of weights from another seller and only half of them were even sent. It appears to be a common issue for people ordering sets. They don't get the whole thing they paid for. Ordering these from this seller, individually, seemed safer. Then you know you will get what you order. Less complicated, more assured. Far less stressful. They are very well made, good finish and exactly what is advertised. So glad to have these weights. (Ordered two of the 25's and two of the 45's. All are equally high quality, well made. No inconsistencies in manufacture.) The 45's are beasts. Each was shipped separately. 45's from two different warehouses, so they don't necessarily all arrive on the same day if you order multiples. I wanted some plates for my Tibialis bar, wrist flexion bar, and eventually just for lifting. I REALLY don't like the idea of building out a weight set that's steel because I can't stand hearing the plates clanking together. The value, though is undeniable, so I bought these. I'm so happy to have them; they work perfectly for my needs; have the slots on them, are super smooth when you do grab them, are easy to carry and hold, and they're thin. If you use these combined with non-steel weights no clanking either! And quite honestly, I find them to be a pretty good-looking weight to have in the home gym. I'd buy these or any others from CAP again if I had the need for more weights. ... show more

I bought these on sale, so the price was very good. After reading some reviews about sharp edges I was a little concerned, but I had no sharp edges that caused any issue for me. Just as good as the weights I got with my original set. I would recommend and would buy these again if I’d want more plates and the sale prices are good. ... show more
