For the price this AB trainer is okay. The headrest is cheaply made and covered with very thin cheap cheap fleece like material which is not appropriate for a piece of equipment that you'll be sweating on. The headrest is also not padded well enough so the wood support digs into my neck and base of my skull. While the trainer assists me with my crunches and form, it does slide out of position on the floor which is very annoying. I had one of these many years ago but got rid of it and I wish I had not because the one I had had plastic stablizers on both sides to keep it flat on the floor and prevent sliding around. I am dealing with the downfalls with this item because I am determined to get in shape by Thanksgiving!!! ... show more

Pad for your head is very hard and uncomfortable. The wood pokes the back of your neck and leaves a red mark! Seems very flimsy. Will keep but may have to stabilize a bit and add padding to the head rest.

Please understand that while this contraption may have worked for some people it DEFINITELY did not work for me. If you live in a small home with limited closet space, you might want to consider something else. It is not compact and it doesn't consolidate in any way. The assembly is easy...only took about 25 minutes. But, the workout I received from it was mediocre at best. The irony of it all is that the "headrest" is supposed to relieve strain in the neck. For me I found the total opposite was happening. I found myself getting neck strain and pressure. I really wanted to give this ab roller a chance! I really did! But it truly is a waste of money for me. I did 300 reps per day for several days and found that NO muscles were being challenged. You can usually tell the next day because your abs and other muscles feel as though they have been worked. Not the case with this item....for ME. What DOES WORK? Pilates floor exercises specifically designed for strengthening core muscles. I lost my fupa years ago on an ab crunch machine like this so I decided to order this one because it’s a replica of the one I owned and let me tell you as long as you use it you will lose it!! Amazing tool to get flat/flat. Love it!!!!
