    • Truly a "Love/Hate" Affair

If you've previously owned one of these tents then you know they're not very durable. And yep, this purchase was to replace a previous one. I shopped purely on price and was pleasantly surprised and somewhat annoyed at the same time when it arrived. The frame is heavier than any of my previous ones so I think this one may hold up better but you will need 4 people for setup. So, I love the frame. The word "Canopy" didn't catch my attention when ordering but it did when it arrived. This is where the "Love/Hate" part begins. The center point of the frame shade cover needs to be supported by a pole (which is included) that once set up looks to me kinda like a church steeple. The problem there is you have to remove the cover and the pole when you're ready to collapse the frame. Yeah, you have to completely remove the cover and the support pole prior to storing. Finally the 'Hate' part. The mentioned "Portable Carry Bag" will only hold the frame shade cover and not the frame itself. To some that's probably acceptable but velcro is used to attach the frame shade cover to the frame. Over time all kinds of debris will eventually get stuck to the velcro on the frame. If that ever happens a good wind gust will probably separate the cover from the frame. So I had to order a separate carry bag to hold both the frame and the shade cover. So much for the bargain I though I had...and I really hated that part. ... show more

The carry bag is so wide I can put 2 -3 of the canopies in it and it is approx 10 in short....does not cover the frame at all and is so cheaply made I would be afraid to try and carry it in the bag....

I've bought 2 of these and returned/swapped for 2 more. One the frame was bent from shipping so make sure you check outer legs for damage. The stitching is horrible at the top on 3 of the 4, one was all bound up and had extra needle holes where no thread was and the square to make it sturdy was completely missed stitched on 2 of them on the one side. I'm sure they are in a sweat shop or something and rushed etc, but still should have quality control. ... show more

It was a pretty good canopy. Mine was ruined by a storm. My fault. Should have took it down. However, when it rained with out much wind, it was fine except one corner that created a puddle. It stretched the canopy out some and it drooped in one corner. Overall, very good value for the money. I'm definitely going to get another one. ... show more
