Despite zero change in environment and handling, these filters I purchased are getting a red/pink tinge to them that I found out was a bacteria after throwing out the first one I used. The second one from this pack is also turning pink/red and creating a mostly clean able stain on the machine. The original filter that came with the humidifier didn't have this issue and nothing changed from how I handled the humidifier with that one in, so it makes no sense that this is happening. ... show more

    • Poor Longevity—Needs Replacing Too Soon

This filter got nasty almost immediately. I haven’t even had it in for a week, and it already needs to be replaced, even though it’s supposed to last 5–8 weeks. I only use filtered water from my fridge, so I expected better durability. Disappointing!

Poor quality, does not last nearly as long as the one that came with my original purchase of the humidifier, like other reviewers mine too has turned pink/red and gives off a moldy dirty dish towel smell. Quality low which is very unfortunate.
