seems to be working well, the temperature takes a little time to settle down when you first get it, so as with all temperature devices, I put it next to an existing device and it was accurate after several hours or so. I have no idea how to get the back off, it looks like it comes off, but without a reason to continue possibly breaking the gauge, I'll leave it alone. The battery was already installed and comes with 2 extra, one for each gauge, the battery cover is simple enough, although after I stuck it on the sidewall, I couldn't seem to get it to slide closed. In any event, for the price- the thing works so far, so I'll see how long it lasts.

We've had these in our snake enclosure for about six months now and the batteries are still going strong. The display is easy to see and shows both humidity and temprature. I wish the size was bigger, but the overall design is functional. Worth the money.

Probably my setup or defective two, I have dart frogs and my humidity is around 95-98% at all times and I have a fogger, and so because tape doesn't hold long in those conditions I attached a suction cup. Each worked great, very visible, even through the fog, but after about 6 months each started to fail. Display got dimmer and dimmer over time, battery changes did nothing. The reason why I imagine it's my set up and the direct exposure to fog is that my wife has had the exact same one with her bearded dragon for well over two years with 0 issues, it's why I bought them.

I bought these to put my cigars in a container with a Boveda. Seems accurate so far. Tested with cheaper cigars then transferred some of my better ones. Does the job, nothing fancy straight to the point and my cigars have been holding up well.
