Very lightweight elastic material and comfortable next to the skin. However: this style runs quite small for a Size Large. My husband put it on and smiled because it was so soft. But then later I kept hearing him complaining, " I CAN'T MOVE! I CAN'T RAISE MY ARMS! " So I'm here to help you out. Just a suggestion: Should you suffer from any level of claustrophobia I'd heartily recommend you consider a size or two larger than usual. The Thermajohn thermal long shirt is a great fit. The fabric is very soft and comfortable. It also provides great compression for the upper body and it is very warm. I love the fit and the price!

I work in my unheated woodshop 7 days per week. These shirts have made that much more bearable. These thermal shirts fit snugly, so I can easily wear them under a heavy outer shirt and remain quite comfortable despite the sub freezing temperatures outside.

My husband was reluctant to wear them as the M was tight on him, but that ended up being a plus. The snugged fit keeps him warm all day and allows for multiple layers. The quality is good and after many washes, they are still looking great, keeping their shape and color.

I really like these shirts, so much so that I ordered a few more after my initial order. The first were great and look exactly as shown in the pictures. However, the second time I ordered I received shirts with a much thinner neck line. If you look at the advertised pictures you see the seam around the neck is about a half inch. But when I reordered I received shirts with a seam around the neck closer to a quarter inch which doesn’t look as good under a collared shirt. So I’m disappointed you changed that which is why I only gave 3 stars. Please go back to the shirt pictured and I’ll gladly order more ... show more
