I love this lens. I have several rf l series zoom lenses but decided to expand my prime lens selection at the entry-level. Starting with the 85mm, then this lens. I've been so impressed with the first two that I'm adding the 35mm. All for less than my single rf15-30 l2.8. The weakest thing about these lenses is their autofocus and I haven't really found it that bad. I use them almost exclusively on an r6 body and haven't tested them much on my r body, so maybe they struggle more with that. I don't know. Anyways, the speed and weight of this lens make it ideal for gimbal videography. I found the heavier zoom lenses problematic on my ronin mini where this and the 85mm work with it flawlessly. And with the 1.8 aperture, they are fantastic in low light. I've used this lens for product photography.. specifically a new liquor bottle I was working with a few weeks ago and it was perfect for that. The 85mm would of had me too far from the subject for the space I had for a set. The 50mm kept everything very workable. ... show more
